How to pair 2 devices on Kensington K39533US bluetooth keyboard?

I am unable to find a decent manual on this bluetooth keyboard and was told that it has the ability to pair up to 4 devices on it. I am completely dumbfounded as to which buttons or procedure is required to accomplish pairing it with more than 1 device at a time! I would greatly appreciate any help, advice or knowledge regarding this Bluetooth Keyboard Folio!! Thank you to ALL who can help me in advance! :)

SOURCE: My iphone 4 will not

First the assistone is mostly made for the iPhone phones especially the iPhone 4 and 3gs. Usually when such situations occur considering that this is your second unit which is not pairing then the problem is from your phone.if the phone was jail broken then it is most likely the jail break software affecting your unit. try getting your software version updated but when you do this you will need a new jailbreak software.
But if your unit was not jail broken then simply update your firmware.
Hope this solution has been helpful?
Thank you for visiting FixYa.

Hi Lynnette,

Your Samsung Tablet will be on the same Router as the Kensington Keyfolio pro 2 wireless Bluetooth keyboard and would therefore expect it to connect to your Tablet.

How do I turn on my key board when connected to my apple I pad

If it's a bluetooth keyboard you simply have to pair it with the iPad. By pair you would go into your iPad, Settings, Bluetooth. Make sure it's bluetooth is switched on then press the button on the top right of the keyboard. I attached a picture of where the button is. After that you should see on your iPad while you still have your bluetooth settings pulled up a new keyboard shows up and it will say not connected. Click on it and it will ask you to enter some keys on the blue tooth keyboard to make sure you got the right one.

I am assuming this is the apple bluetooth keyboard they sell in stores, if it isn't please reply with what type of keyboard you have and I can figure out what button to press.

Kensington keyboard manual

Your model number isn't listed, but all published Kensington keyboard manuals are available at
http://www.kensington.com/manuals

My keyboard (model K39336) connected easily, so here's what I had to do. Ensure the Ipad Bluetooth is on in settings. Turn on the keyboard, and when you see a single blue light, press the connect button. The iPad will give you a four digit code to type in on the keyboard. When you type in this code, the iPad and keyboard become 'paired' and keyboard input is available whenever the keyboard is turned on.

Where do i find the keyboard passcode?

Typically when the keyboard is turned on, the device discovers it. Once the device discovers it, you should be able to press connect on the keyboard and the Bluetooth pairing request with the code should pop up on your device. Then you should be able to enter the code on the keyboard, press enter and connect.

How do I connect my Kensington folio via Bluetooth to my iPad 2?

I did not see any other comments, but to address the pairing issue between your Keyboard and iPad.... If your product is the actual KeyFolio Expert Multi-Angle Folio.

The KeyFolio Expert Multi Angle Folio and Keyboard uses a solid plastic frame to attach to the iPad. It's easy enough to slide the iPad in and out of the frame but the design means the case only works with the 4th and 3rd Generation iPad's and is not compatible with the iPad 2 or the original iPad.
Connecting the KeyFolio Expert case to your iPad is a simple process. Simply hold down the power button for over five seconds to put the keyboard into pairing mode and go to the Bluetooth settings menu on your iPad to connect it. Enter the four digit numerical code on your iPad when prompted to finalise the connection.

Pulled from:
Kensington KeyFolio Expert for iPad

If you do not fall under that product, try these steps - they shuold be the same for most of Kensington's Products:
---
Connecting the Bluetooth keyboard to your iPad is a simple process. Simply turn it on, press the connect button in the top right corner of the keyboard and go to the Bluetooth settings menu on your iPad to connect it. The iPad will prompt you to enter a four digit code using the keyboard to finalise the connection. (the code should be 0000)

Let me know the outcome.

Ipad and beikin keyboard

You will need to enable bluetooth on your iPad and then pair the keyboard to the iPad. Try the following:

  • On your iPad, tap the settings icon from the Home Screen.
  • Tap on General.
  • Tap on Bluetooth.
  • Toggle Bluetooth to On
  • Turn on the Belkin keyboard.
  • The keyboard will show up under Devices on the iPad.
    Select Belkin Bluetooth Keyboard.
  • A code will appear on the screen.
Enter this code on the keyboard and click Enter.

A message will pop up when pairing is successful. If pairing fails, repeat the steps above. If you're still unable to pair the two leave a comment and I will help further troubleshoot.

Hope that helps!

Adding bluetooth to toshiba laptop

Well,I'm not really an expert on Bluetooth, but let me try...

Which version of Windows are you running? If you have Windows XP SP2 or above, the Microsoft Bluetooth stack should be installed on your system. First make sure that the Kensington bluetooth adapter is compatible with the printer and the OS. From what I heard Canon sell a separate Bluetooth adapter for about $80 for this, but I'm not too sure.

Secondly, ensure that the built-in Bluetooth Stack or Software has the required Profile for your printer.

Next, put your printer in "discover" mode (see printer manual for more info ). Use the Bluetooth Connection Utility software that came with the built-in Bluetooth stack to "discover" the printer. Follow the instructions by the Bluetooth stack manufacturer on how to pair and connect Bluetooth devices to your built-in Bluetooth stack.

Please also see THIS article. although it is meant for the Logitech DeNovo keyboard, it can be used for any Bluetooth enabled devices. (Just replace the DeNovo wit your printer in the article.

But mainly, make sure that the Kensington adapter is compatible...

Hope that helps..
