Hi, this code represents a Key panel (touch pad) that has shorted.

This code will occur if a shorted key panel is detected continuously over 60 seconds. Replace key panel (also called touch pad) in this case. this will fix this issue.

I have an ancient Sharp Carousel Alacard microwave. Part of the door seal has fallen off and broke into pieces when it hit the floor. Can we still get these parts or should I get a new microwave

Ancient is the key here, do you want to keep it sentimentally or build a new relationship with a new , young better model? The seal is essential to keep users safe from radiation....do not use if seal is damaged. Microwave is a klystron type transmitter used in radar. Have repaired and ck for escaping rf energy.if you go that route.I'd go new.

Hi my Bosch Quantam speed microwave keeps tripping the electric when the oven is used. The grill and microwave settings both work fine. Any clues. ??

Yes, sounds like your oven element may be faulty and needs testing/replacing etc. However microwaves are best left to the qualified engineers. When you remove the cover, certain parts inside the microwave may still have live current present even with the plug disconnected and could cause serious injury or even electrocution!!

How to bake pizza, how much time to keep

Do you have one of those microwaves with the built in broil and bake unit where you would pull the pan out from the top?! If so, I don't know! :o ....but based on my experience in making pizzas, I strongly recommend that you put it on for 5 minutes intervals at about 375 degrees (+/- 25 degrees) and check it until the cheese in the middle is melted. I would NOT recommend putting it directly in the microwave using infrared radiation bc pizza like that tastes really bad. In an oven, put the pizza on for about 15 minutes and check every 3-5 min after that.

Panasonic micro wave stopped working after a lightning bolt hit near the house

If you remove the cover assy you will see a fuse somewhere. It is pbobably blown. Be careful with microwaves as they can give off quite a shock even when unpluged. If you keep your hands away from the magnatron you shouldn't have a problem. If you just change the fuse you won't have a problem. The hi voltage cage is toward the back

New oven won't work and can't set time, display keeps blinking

Hey--  You've spent a bunch of time on this already, so let's figure it out. The first step is to check power connections. L1, L2 , Neutral for proper location and tight connections. Should have 120v and 220v checked at bus block. If these check out, then this new unit should be under warranty and qualify for service. Not unheard of bad board or loose wire on a new unit. Let a tech sort it out on site. Let me know if this info helps- have more if needed-  Thanks-  Ed

Thermador over/microwave/heating drawer model SMW272YP Bake bottom element will not heat up. I have replaced the element. The display pannel has been replaced in the past, but still keep having the same...

I just found out my baking oven doesn't work and I hear the fan for the convection roast, but no heat. I had the appliance man out and he said that I need a relay board! Big bucks and they don't make this model anymore. Moreover, the microwave and warming drawer work fine. This is ridiculous!
