Coleman rv rooftop unit, fan runs in on but in auto nothing works

Old coleman rv unit. Hooked up new mechanical heat/cool thermostat and wired to ceiling unit, and I can get the fan to run in on but not in auto and cool with temperture on lowest setting. The terminal strip on the ceiling unit has a "R" "W" "Y" "G" "F" "F". I have the R,W and G hooked up right now and just the fan runs only in "on" position. What is the "F" terminal is that the common ? I'm only interested in the air working not the heat. please help

R = HOT 12V
W= WHT- GND
Y = YELLOW / POSSIBLE THERMOSTAT
G= GRND FOR THERMOSTAT
f = FAN
F=FAN
aSSUMING THIS IS A TWLVE VOLT SYTEM- The two f's Would be fan control intake and exhaust - fan direction
White is always ground and so is green.. green is more of a static ground where white is a load grnd.
Red is always hot. in low voltage

I hope this helped. No instructions in kit?

    If I may? On RV issues , camping World Stores cater to the RV crowd and are excellant at assisting and advising. They may even provide a copy of the wiring diagram for you. Good Luck.

I have a Coleman mach RV roof Ac with a fan and separate Furnace unit. None of the units will turn on.The AC did work along with the fan. Now nothing works. All of the fuses are good

Check the plug end of the Power cord for a broken wire. If you can test the cord for continuity with an ohm meter do that first. Most likely you can get a replacement plug. You'll need to cut the old one off and strip the wires back to connect the new plug.

Fan wont run on auto

Make sure your tstat is programmed for electric, not gas. Or in the settings you want that the TSTAT CONTROLS THE FAN.

Your choices are another Dometic or a Coleman
I prefer the Coleman But the amount of extra cooling you will get by stepping up to a 15K unit will probability not be worth the added cost
