SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: i ma getting like The server at www.google.com is taking too long

Go to my computer and type in 74.125.79.83 and see if it does the same thing. If you can go to the page it's most likely a browser or DNS issue. I would also make sure that I deleted all temp files, IE temp files, and cache. I would also go to Internet Options/Browsing History/Change the radio button to Every Time I Visit A Webpage and change the Disk Space to Use to about 400MB. Restart start your browser and try again.

Any recommendations on how to protect the wand from getting dinged up?

probably wont get one so you will have to improvise
try finding a piece of pvc pipe that fits as close as possible over the wand get it from pool shops and plumbing supplies or hard ware shops
pvc from a pool shop is a different size to plumbing pvc so it may take time to get a fit
take a section of the wand along and try the fit.

The switch for the dome lights are built into the latches on most vehicles now. You can try spraying P.B. Blaster or WD 40 into the latches then open and close the doors, some times this will work. open and close the door about 10 times to lube the latch or door switch. God-Bless!

I am told my 1993 Isuzu trooper needs a 1200.00 computer to get it back in working order. I've already had a new trans and clutch put in as well as other repairs. #1)Can I get this used and cheaper? #2)...

That sounds awfully high - First, I'd get a second opinion. Then if it's a OBC - yes you can get them used and rebuilt for ALOT less than $1200 - And finally - YES they are excellent rigs and you can easily get 200k out of it. (I know, I had one, sold it w/218k on it and now it's closing in on 300k)

Overheating can cause "freezing" -- did the repair-shop used compressed-air to blow-out a bunch of dust & dirt ?

Rather than discarding the computer, take the "System Restore" CD-ROM that was originally shipped with the computer, and reinstall Windows. If you have lost those disks, contact Sony, and order a replacement CD-ROM.

Then, install a good, free, anti-virus product, e.g., "Microsoft Security Essentials":

http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/

to prevent it from getting re-infected.
