The iPad has a built in mail app. To access it you will find it in Settings (the cog wheel) and 'Mail, Contacts and Calendars'. There is a wizard to run through. You will need settings which you can usually find on your mail provider website.
You can also access mail via Safari if your mail provider has a webmail interface.
I'm presuming that your mailing list is the Contacts list on your iPad. If you have a Mac, or an iPhone (or other iOS devices), you can choose to sync all of them through iCloud. If you want instructions for that, please ask a separate question.
If you can see your mailing list in your Contacts app on your iPad, simply touch the + icon in the upper right corner of the screen to bring up an empty contact card. When you are finished, touch "done"; you can add another by repeating the same actions, or do something else.
You can open yahoo mail in your iPad's web browser and add it manually as a contact. Or you can email the contact from your iPad to your yahoo email account and copy and paste it into your Yahoo contacts.
If the email address exists within your contacts go to the contacts app on your ipod select the contact then click on edit and you will be able to change the email address. Failing that your contact email address may be coming in from your mail server e.g. googlemail or yahoo and you would have to amend it on your mail account if you can.
Yahoo free email accounts cannot be setup via any devices and/or computer except access via the web. You have to pay for the Yahoo email Plus account in order to setup email on your device. These are the settings if you doYahoo Incoming Mail Server (POP3) - pop.mail.yahoo.com (port 110) Yahoo Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) - smtp.mail.yahoo.com (port 25) I'd suggest getting a gmail account from google, free and it will work fine on your tablet. You can then create a rule in your yahoo to forward all email to your gmail account.
For your tablet, to get Yahoo! mail you have to activate POP setting; to activate pop on your Yahoo!Mail account you have to pay for it. Now, if you once signed up for Yahoo! Mail Plus, add a new email account
to your email program with the following POP and SMTP settings:
1. Yahoo! Mail POP server: plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com 2. POP port: 995 3. POP TLS/SSL: yes 4. POP user name: your Yahoo! ID 5. password: your password
1. Yahoo! Mail SMTP server: plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com 2. SMTP port: 465 3. SMTP TLS/SSL: yes 4. SMTP user name: your ID 5. SMTP password: your password
In case you will have some errors/problems having such settings you have to:
# Log in to Yahoo! Mail # select OPTIONS > MAIL OPTIONS > go to POP/FORWARDING > choose VIEW POP on Yahoo!Mail Server.
