Depends on how far away you are from the station. You may just need to elevate the one you have now. Just get a roof mount pole and mount the antenna on that. Radio Shack sells outdoor antennas especially for digital signals.

No signal using digital antenna

In some areas, it can depend on the antenna used. In areas close to the stations, you should pick up fine with just about any antenna. If you're out in the country or even thirty to forty-five minutes away from the station, you will probably need an outdoor antenna. Even with this in mind, in some areas, the antenna may need to be higher or lower than your neighbors antenna. As an example, I lived in an area where, with analog television, my outdoor antenna was on a twenty foot pole. When I switched to digital, I had to lower my antenna about five feet. A person, one city block behind me, had mimiced what I had done before and after the switch. Because of the job I had at the time, he showed up at my work and inquiried about the reason he wasn't getting anything. After telling him that I had to play with the height of mine, and that he might need to take his higher, he went to try it. Two days later, he came back saying that he was getting great reception, but he had to go the full extent of his thirty foot pole. That's just within a city block, but I've even talked with people in the country where some have been lucky enough to be able to use an indoor antenna and their neighbors had an outdoor one about twenty to thirty foot high. Some have even needed to go to a good fifty feet.

Does 2 anntennas work better than 1

they have their pros' and cons'.the single antenna will p/u on the side its mounted on about 85%of the transmissions.about 15% will be received at a lower level but not so noticibly that you can't hear it. The duel antenna will p/u everything from one side or the other equally well. the only drawback is the type antenna you use. Monkey made,Wilson 5000,k40 6000,viper, penetrator10 all the big power names If you use them as duels then you are defeating their porpose. they will be fighting each other and the range you get will be about the same range as a single.

I'm wanting to drop my satellite service. Will my projection tv pick up stations with a digital antenna?

Sorry but I've never heard of a DIGITAL ANTENNA, ALL antennas are ANALOG NOT DIGITAL, and yes you will be able to tune in some TV stations if you live close enough of TV stations that still transmit ANALOG signals, with a GOOD VHF/UHF antenna you can have good reception and viable TV time... (best of all it's FREE)

Good Luck!

im not sure if your using a booster but with digital tv it a must they cost around $120.00 to be fitted to the cable do not by those plug into the wall ones as they are rubbish get an antenna installer to fit a good quality signal booster and it will work great..

p.s the digital signal normally flow over the air flows of the antenna and this causes bad signal with a booster it is as if the antenna reaches out and grabs the signal allowing you constant signal above 60dp

best of luck

Can't get anything over antenna

Did you use an inside or outdoor antenna? An outdoor antenna rotated in the correct direction will give you the best chance of getting any signal. Look at antennaweb.org and tvfool.com for the channels in your area, the direction in which the antenna must be pointed and the type of antenna you will need to get them. Antennaweb.org is very conservative in the channel listings even with the assumption of an external antenna. Do you have hills, trees or tall buildings between you and the various transmitters? That will block your signal strength - remember digital TV is an all-or-nothing signal.

I hope this helps.

(antennaweb indicates that my location will only get 2 channels from a transmitter 10 miles away. With a properly oriented outdoor antenna and an splitter/amplifier, I actually get those + 3 from 30 miles away on several TVs without signal loss..)

Very easily, take off the passenger side tailight (outter) two screws/torque bit. Once you have done that reach in on the inner quater panel you should be able feel the antenna....... (To remove anntenna). From the outside of the anntenna on top where the actual anntenna comes out there is a ring silver or balck. You should be able to twist (unscrew) that ring to loosen the antenna and two more on the in side of quater panel. The anntenna should drop from the inside of the quater panel. Hope this helps!!
