SOURCE: Maytag washer won't spin out

Before you try to take the panel apart to remove the timer you need to check that the electrical connections to the pump are o.k. and whether the pump is getting power when it's time to drain. If you have to replace the timer you need to take the back panel off first.

SOURCE: Maytag washer, model: LAT8415AAE top loader. Washer fills with water but will not start agitating, spin or drain.

Check lid switch. Most will not run with lid open and the switch may not be pressed down when door is closed

SOURCE: will not go in to spin cycle

Remove agitator (it will pop off when pried) then you will find your answer. Mine was a broken tub collar to shaft.

Dirty inlet screen maytag washer

These models actually don't have a filter so the best way to clean it would be by choosing a cycle which allows th most water to fill up the tub , hot water preferably and add some powdered diswasher detergent. To remove your agitator you will have to pull off the top portion and inside the agitator there is a hailf inch bolt to unscrew and the rest will come off.

Hope this helps

check screens located on hoses at back of washer. If clean the silinoid is most likely out, be sure to turn water valves off first.

Maytag LSE7806ACE washer won't rinse. Machine fills with water and agitates, spins also. Just won"t rinse......help!!!!!!!

Your washer uses cold water only for the rinse cycle.
Start you washer and put the water temperature switch on 'cold' to see if you have any cold water.
If you find that there is no cold water then turn the water off and remove the cold water hose from the back of the washer.
Once you have the cold water hose removed you will be able to look in the water valve and check the screen. A lot of times the screens get plugged up and need to be cleaned. The screen will just pull out of the valve so you can rinse it out good.
Make sure to put the screen back in place.
If you have no cold water and the screen is clean then you will need to replace the water inlet valve.

then remove clip pry with screw driver dislodge clip from hole in cabinet tilt cabinet forward and left it off washer you well see the inlet valve you may want to have a repairman replace if you feel uncomfortable to

This is similar to a problem I had after my power suddenly went out while the washer was filling with water. When the power resumed the washer would no longer run water... all other systems (agitate, drain, spin) worked fine.

A 10 minute, $113 dollar service call revealed that there was a fuse inside the front upper left area that had blown. Remove the 2 screws at the bottom of the front panel to get access to the inside.

Check it out and replace it if necessary.
