Swapped hard drive into new casw and now it wont boot up

This is due to a hardware conflict.
The system drivers on the hard drive are for the old mother board and devices,You will have to reinstall OS while it is install on the new mother board,The computer cannot boot to a drive that is loaded to another system unless all the devices and drive are identical.

Need unlock code for the lg 260 that i bought off ebay

Thanks for choosing fixya.com

For this problem I would contact the seller. Depending on which unlock code your talking about. If its a boot up password you can reset the cmos jumper to clear the password on most boards.

The jumper is usually labeled something like cmospswd but can be very hard to read. Other cases like the one I currently use, have a diagram on the underside of the cover that shows the location of the cmos reset jumper.

To be safe I'd check with the ebay seller first, then consider resetting yourself.

Hitachi ide 80G hard disk on pentium 4 pvmm2 motherboard.

no, it can handle an 80Gb. But before you do that reset first the firmware cause it helps your computer to prepare whatever plug and play devices the you may attach to it. or Upgrade your previous firmware to a higher version.

250gb sata hard disk to 845 glad mother board

Hello all. I have the same issue. My MB is 845G [P4 2.4 Ghz] and SATA harddisk I need to install is Seagate 250 GB Baracuda with 3.0Gb/s interface, I belive which makes this HD as SATA II. So for this motherboard should I prefer PCI cards which support SATA II over the supports SATA I [these are cheaper].

Thanks so mcuh!!!
