How do I hook up my Alesis Microverb III effect to Mackie CR1604VLZ and allow maximum aux sends for monitors ?

Hi,
What you need to do is connect (for example" Aux 1 send from the desk to the Left Input of the alesis. Then connect the Left and right output form the Alesis to Auxilery return 1 and 2. You can just use the left ouput and use aux return 1 if having mono effects is ok.

How do i hook up monitors to mackie1604 vlz pro to where you can hear music and mike.

Plug either a powered monitor or amp and then speaker into one of the aux sends. Now adjust the monitor mix using the appropriate aux send pot on each of the channel strips you want to send to the monitor. Think of the aux send pots as faders for the monitor mix the same as the main fader for the ain mix.

I'm using 2 different power amps and the monitor (M) will not work unless I have the L=R sliders up or I can put the M send in the R and it will work the monitors separately. Why and what am I doing w

1st....the output section, "M" stands for mono. The A&E does not have "monitor" sends per say but instead calls them "Aux's." Adjust the proper Aux for the input channel 1-16 and use the Aux output section (row of knobs above output sliders) as the master volume. By using Aux 1-4 (and with more amps) you could send 4 discrete monitor mixes to four different band members. Bass likes his monitor strong but doesn't want to hear other members while guitarists want to hear only himself and the singing drummer...etc.

HOW DO I RUN A MONITOR THROUGHT THE BEHRINGER MX1804X?

If you're trying to get a monitor feed from this unit, use the "aux" send. Connect the "aux send" to your monitor amp. The main Aux fader provides "master" level and the "aux" knob for each channel allow you to "mix" your monitor signal.

Yamaha yas-101 uverse codes

I had the same problem with my U-verse s10-10 remote and a yamaha SR 300 soundbar. Here is how I got my volume control (but NOT power control) on the yamaha working:

First - always send volume control to the AUX button:
Press and hold AT&T key and OK for 1 second, release, look for 2 flashes.
Now press AUX button. The AUX button will show a long flash.

Second - Go through the manual programing steps listed in the guide for the AUX button (hold AUX and OK for 1 second, release; 2 flashes, punch in code). But instead of pressing the Power button to try to turn off your yamaha soundbar, press the volume up / down and Mute button. I think the code that worked for me was 4045 but I honestly don't remember.

The key is that you have to send the volume control to the AUX button first or it's all a wash.

The mute button cuts the main audio but the effects audio is still heard. What to do?

That's basically normal actually...however it depends on which aux send you're using. If you use aux 1 for the effects, you can use the pre/post switch on the master aux 1 send to switch it to pst fader....now your mute switch should kill the effects as well. Aux 2 is good to use for monitors where you don't need to return them to the mixer.

I'm trying to plug an active speaker into aux 3 for a third monitor mix but it doesn't work (I do the same with aux 1 and 2). Am I missing something? Cheers,

I answered another post of this earlier. The AUX3 is strictly POST FADER... you MUST turn the channel sliding fader up to send signal to AUX 3. Also the AUX3 channel gain KNOB must be turned up. Also the AUX master gain KNOB must be turned up. Make sure your cablles are balanced TRS cables from the mixer to the powered speakers.

I am trying to run a monitor using the Aux Send on a Mackie Board but even with the Master Aux Send turned up there is barely any sound coming out when I try to use my microphones. Also, I noticed that...

No there is no special cord. The aux you use for a monitor should be pre fader( that means the signal comes before the volume slider) turn the individual slider all the way down. Talk into the mike at the volume you would be singing at the loudest. Adjust the gain of that chanel up untill the clip light comes on. Now back it down so it dosent come on at your loudest. Now pick the aux you want to use. Turn it up 1/2 way, turn up the master aux send coresponding to the channel aux number 1/2 way you should get sound. If it's too loud turn it down if you need more turn it up. If you have any more questions, give me a call at the shop.

I have a behringer 16 channel board . the 2nd aux send in not working as of last week. What's the general problem that happens when an aux send stops working?.................

I don't believe this board has an "Aux send IN" jack. There are "Aux Send" and Aux Return.

The Aux returns are TRS jacks.

Make sure ALL interconnected equipment are powered from the SAME receptacle or source to avoid damage to equipment.

You might clarify the exact name of the in or out that is not working. I have schematics to help troubleshoot the problem.
