SOURCE: manual craftsman band saw
I just went to Sears.com and then to Sears Parts Direct (down at the bottom of page under Craftsman tools) and typed in your model number. You can look at this manual online. Good luck

go to Dewaltservicenet.com and type in your model number in the middle of the page towards the bottom and you should be able to download an owners manual for this tool, if you have a problem let me know and I will try another site for you.

Take the cover off or open, back off the bearings and guides off the blades, spin the top wheel by hand to adjust the blade so that it tracks in the middle of the tire. Tighten it up till it is snug, then bring in the top bearing to just touch the blade, don't push it, then the bottom bearing, same way, now bring in the guide blocks to surround the blade almost to the teeth. close the cover, you should be all set. When they are set up right, they work great. Try to remember that the blade doesn't move, your work does. Hope this helps.

The motor is AC (alternating current) and only runs in one direction. Therefore, the only way to reverse the saw blade direction is to flip the position of the motor 180 degrees. The teeth of the blade should be pointing down and face to the left when you are standing in front of the saw. The blade should travel down into the table so the blade pushes the work into the table. I hope this helps since it sounds like the blade may be installed incorrectly.
