Can i enter a mutiple number contact?

yes you can on most cell phones. try using pressing and holding the * key for a moment and it should put a comma(or a P) after the last # (this is a 1-2 second pause), then just key in the next numbers you want. (if you need more time between numbers, just insert more Pauses.)

i.e. 18005551212,1,12223334444
this would make it dial 18005551212 then wait 2 seconds,
then dial 1(to leave a callback number), wait 2 seconds,
then dial 12223334444 (your callback number).

some phones put a limit on how many numbers can be dialed with a contact...but you should be able to put most numbers in. i use this method myself.

I purchased a Uniden model D1688 and I don't know how to put favorites into the phonebook.

Entries can be added from the base or the handset. The CID button is on the right of the control ring; the phonebook is on the left of that ring.

If you want to add a number from the Caller ID list to the phone book, press CID and use the up/down arrows to navigate to the call that you want to add. Then press Menu/Select. Select the line Store into Pb and press Menu/Select. You will be at the Edit Name Screen for the phonebook.

To enter a new item from scratch, press the Phonebook button. Then press Menu/Select and select the Create New submenu. Press Menu/Select and enter the name of the contact using the alphabet on the key pad. (For C, press 2 three times.) Press Menu/Select and enter the phone number as it is dialed (including a 1 if needed). If you need to add a pause in the number, press Redial/Pause. However, the entire number must be less than 20 digits (including the pause). Press Menu/Select again. If you enter the number from the handset, you will be prompted to select a ringtone to always use when you get a call from that number. Press Menu/Select again. Then press End (on the handset) or Play/Stop (on the base) to exit the menu system.

Uniden has the manuals available at their site, either from the product page or the support page. All DECT phone manuals are here: . The manuals are listed in numerical and alphabetical order. The direct link to the D1688 manual in English is .

I hope this helps.

Enter a name & number and select a personal ring.Enter the phone number (up to 20 digits) exactly as you would dial ♦♦ l it.♦♦If you need the phone to wait before sending the next set of digits, press Re dial/pause to insert a 2-second pause. You can insert multiple pauses, but each one counts as a digit (you'll see P in the display).

How to add a pause on Samsung GT-B2710 before telephone number?

I scoured the internet to find the solution and even viewed

Found the solution by accident through a good ol' fashioned college experiment. (even though I aspire to go to college someday. ;0) However, I have to admit in the past I know that you could enter "P" as many times as you needed plus whatever characters (i.e. # or *) and numbers you needed within the contacts number it would "do all of the dialing for you."

On this particular model (GT-B2710) It is called DTMF or Dual-tone multi-frequency signaling. (I had to Google that one myself. DTMF huh??) You cannot enter the "P" like I wanted to through editing the contact directly in the phone. So I tried using my "Samsung Kies" program. ( This is a free software program through Samsung that you can enter all of your contacts, music, videos, and even update the software/firmware for the phone which is a good thing.

Then when you get it or if you already have it just go to the contact itself in Kies (I like the business card is much cooler.) and I want to add for example a pin code after the number.

+13037240000PPPP84913# (You don't necessarily need the +1 before the area code. I just do it myself)

All you have to do is make sure that you enter as many capital "P"s as you need (I "think" they are 2 seconds a piece..not sure) then if instructions are needed for a Star * or Number sign # you just put that at the end.

If you have mulitple entries here is how it should look if say for example if you have to enter "Pound" or "Star" (i.e. # or *) after every entry. I am using "Pound" for this example:

or spelled out...(the semi-colons are just for separators in this example.. you wouldn't use them when you actually enter them in. Use the example above.)

1;(Area Code);10 digit phone number;PPPP1 (for e.g. "Option 1");PPPAccount Number;PPP Pin Code#

That's it. You may have to gauge how many P's you need to put it after you monitor how long it takes in between pauses that the company uses in their phone tree (When you have to press "2" for option two, press "3" for option three...etc.)

Hope that helps,

When I try to save a contact on my palm pixi it just says "error." I can't save new contacts, I can only add to existing. How do I fix this?

You can add a contact that synchronizes one of your online accounts, such as Google or Exchange. You can also add a

contact in the Palm Profile account, which does not synchronize with an online account but is backed up daily to your Palm Profile.

If you are using Contacts for the first time, you go through a few different steps to get or access the contacts on your phone (see Using Contacts for the first time ). Follow this procedure to add contacts directly on your phone after the first time you use Contacts.

1. Open Contacts .

2. Tap .

3. (Optional) Tap the account button to the right of Name to change the account to which the new contact will be added.

4. Tap fields to enter contact details, select a ringtone for that contact, add notes, or add birthday details for the contact. Scroll to see all of the fields available for contact info.

5. In some fields, such as New Phone Number, when you enter the information a label button appears on the right. Tap the button to change the label for your entry-for example, to identify a number as a mobile or work phone.

Tip Use the Reminder field to enter that important message or question you have for this contact. The next time you send or receive a call or a message to or from the contact on your phone, the reminder pops up on the screen. You can also add a reminder later (see Assigning a reminder message to a contact).

Tip To insert a two-second pause in the dialing sequence, enter a T where you want the pause to appear. To insert a stop in the dialing sequence, enter a P where you want the stop to appear; to dial the next set of numbers after the stop, tap the screen.

6. Tap Done.

Dialing speedial 1 does not access my voiemail even tho it says it is dialing it a greeting comes on asking for an access code. the nly way to get voicemail is dialing manually and the icon onscreen does...

OK, usually one cannot use the speed dial feature unless you insert, pauses in the number, IE: you must add 1 second, "Pauses", after and before the number you dial... also you can then add, your access code too, well theoretically anyway..
So, you pause, for 1 sec, then dial the number, pause for 2 - 3, 4, maybe 5 seconds, seconds, then enter your access code and Enter code.
This should then be able you to then speed dial and connect and enter your PIN, all at the same time, if your PIN isn't recognized, try adding more pauses before entering.
If NONE of it works, then you simply have a network/phone that will not do it.
