Make Google my home page

Google Search is not a browser. Depending on what you're asking:
- Google's web browser is called Google Chrome. Go to chrome.google.com and click on "Install," and it will download and install.
- If you want Google as your home page, go to google.com and, depending on your browser, you can right click and select "Make home page," or go to the menu to do so.

if you mean when searching in the address bar or "omnibox" as they seem to call it:
click the three lines at the top right corner, settings, (a new tab will open), the 4th group down is Search, you're set to Ask, just change it to Google. Just close the tab, it saves the change instantly.
If you mean the home page, also go to 3 lines, settings, and the second group "on startup" select "open a specific page or set of pages" and then click Set Pages. hover over any pages you don't want to open at startup and click the X to remove, and in the box for Add New Page, enter http://www.google.com/ then click ok, and close the tab.

Which browser are you using Joy?
For IE, go to tools-internet options. In the box at the top, where it says ask.com, just type in google.com, then apply at the bottom.
If you can't see tools-options, then do this:
Click Start-Control Panel-Network & Internet-change homepage.
For Chrome:
Click the 3 orange bars-right hand top of page. Then click settings.
Where it says: Open a specific set of pages, click set pages.
to the right of ask.com click the x to remove it. Type in google.com then OK.

Then go to Start-control panel-uninstall a program and look for ask.com and click once and uninstall. Hope that helps!

You need to change your home page. first go to the google homepage then go into your browser settings where you should have "internet options" which should allow you to save the current page (google) as your home page.

Uninstall Ask. Use spynomore to find where to manually remove trojans in your registry and in hidden folders in windows. Then set your homepage to google using IE go to the gear icon/internet options set homepage to (http://www.google.ca/ in Canada or .com or whatever country you are in) Using Firefox Firefox icon/Options/options general tab home page type (http://www.google.ca/ in Canada or .com or whatever country you are in) Using Opera Opera icon/settings/preferences general tab home page type (http://www.google.ca/ in Canada or .com or whatever country you are in) Using Safari either you have a set of horizontal bars at the top right then choose settings/ On startup open a specific page or pages, set pages sometimes the gear icon is at the top right if so choose preferences/homepage type (http://www.google.ca/ in Canada or .com or whatever country you are in) Using Chrome Gear icon/preferences/homepage type (http://www.google.ca/ in Canada or .com or whatever country you are in)

This solution is for Google Chrome:-

Go to browser's setting, then go to "Open a specific page or set of pages" click on set pages and type there www.google.com. Remove the others websites.

go to google.com on the search engine, on the search page it should show a gmail sign up & to the left of the page it should show make google your homepage, just follow the prompts

you can even put a icon on your desktop of google,,when your on your google home page--right click the google name & go to create shortcut, & it should put a shortcut to igoogle on your desktop,,that's what I did

to check to see if igoogle is your home page do the following steps
Go to the start menu
Then to control panel
Network & internet connections
Go to OR PICK A CONTROL PANEL ICON
Click on internet options
The menu should show--internet properties
In the general tab at the top should be home page
Check to see if google is there for home page
If it's not type it in--igoogle & click apply & ok

Go to google.com and then drag the google icon in the address bar to the home page icon(the picture of a house. Or usually on the google home page it asks if you want to make google your home page, click on it and it will change your home page to google.

In the upper right corner is a wrench (your tools). Click that and then choose options.
Under the "basics" set your home page to www.google.com (just like the example you will see.)
