Open Cisco Connect then click Guest access. The password is displayed under the Password header.
To go to the Guest access option using Cisco Connect, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Select Guest access at the main screen of Cisco Connect
In the Guests access settings window, you can enable or disable the Allow guest access, change and check the password for the guest network, or change the number of Total guests allowed.
NOTE: The Guest network name is the main network's SSID with -guest as a suffix. If you want to change the guest network's name, you will need to change the main network's SSID.
Easiest thing to do, Change the password to your router. Once this is done, it will prevent your neighbor from any further access to your router and of course prevent internet access. Most all routers are simply a local web address for access. Example: 192.168.1.1 typed inside a browser address pane will take you inside the router. Check your router for setup procedures.
For me I am using my laptop and my laptop call Toshiba what can I do make my internet on for good cause it tell me that I have to enter password for Cisco quest access
You'll need to log into the router, address is most likely 192.168.1.1 it will ask for your email address and password do that. Then go to guest access. The password will be listed there
Use a computer connected to the modem through a wired connection, and access the settings by opening a web browser and going to 192.168.1.1, login there, default username is admin and the default password is either admin or no password, from there in the wireless settings there should be a place with the guest password and you might not be able to see it which would mean that you would have to just change it.
If you give your password out indiscriminately, someone could get into your router and change the configuration (password). Not sure if this pertains to your router. Try to configure the router again and close down guest access until you can get a handle on who you can trust.
If a password was set by user, no one else will know it if you forget it.
If the password needs to be reset to factory, so you can log in with the "default" password AND RE-SETUP EVERYTHING, then you'll need to reset the Linksys E2500 to factory defaults. You can usually do that via a special button or sequence of actions.
The E2500 manual will have specific directions for performing a factory default reset. You can download the manual for the E2500 from http://support.linksys.com/en-us/support/routers/E2500
Linksys E series routers can broadcast 2 wireless networks. First one is the main wireless network which is secured wireless network. The second network is a guest network which will always show you unsecured. It will never show you secured and you can not make it secured. However it has a web based security. Anyone can connect to the guest network but will not be able to access Internet without Guest access password. In other words there is a security. You can disable guest access also. See more about Cisco Guest network access password
What is the model number of your router? If you have installed the Cisco connect on your main computer then you can find the password for the guest network on Cisco connect software. You will need to heck the Cisco connect software to find password for the guest network
