Question about KitchenAid KDRP467KSS Dual Fuel (Electric and Gas) Kitchen Range

Open Question

To clarify my question about the thermal fuse on Kitchenaid KDRP467KSS. The fuse that I am needing to recoplace is in the front of the oven, next to the ntrol panel (not the fuse in the baarck). I removed the front panel, and can slide the control ti bod out a little bit. This fuse is right next to it, I can see it, but I can barely reach it. I tried a few times by just pulling, but I'm afraid I'm going to break it. Do I need a tool or is there a trick? Or do I just yank??? Thanks

SOURCE: Kitchen aid double convection oven - glass needs cleaning!

Had to remove the screws on the BOTTOM of the outside door, then panel came off after all the screws (inside oven door included) were off...
Reversed the order to put back on.. Cleaned (all) three glass pieces nicely... Now after reading the problems with the self cleaning part (doors getting stuck!) - I'm afraid to try mine!

Many ovens have a bi-metal thermal fuse-also called a thermal limit switch-that protects the oven from overheating. The oven thermal fuse trips when the temperature in the oven gets too hot. After the thermal fuse trips, the oven won't heat. If the thermal fuse trips after the self-cleaning cycle, try resetting the fuse by turning off electricity to the oven, removing the exterior back panel, and pushing the reset button. If the fuse tripped during normal operation, replace it. If the problem persists, the electronic oven control board might require replacement. Reset the thermal fuse after replacing the control board.

Stove top works, no power on the oven. KDDT207A

I had the same problem. There's a thermostat before the control panel. You need to remove the knobs and the front panel to get to it. You'll also need to remove a couple of trim pieces to keep from bending the panel. The part number is Whirlpool W10017820, sells for about $40.

I have the same problem as djeff757 post on Kitchenaid KDRP467

I don't recall a control panel fuse for this model, there is, however, a thermal cut-off on the rear of the unit. The part number is 8300802 and you simply have to remove the rear panel to access it.

Replace the control panel thermal
fuse (Microtemp G4A01093C). Its in the wiring harness between
the control transformer and the control panel on a blue wire.
It looks like a resistor inside a clear plastic tube and is
mounted on a metal bracket with plastic clips. It has a spade
connection on each end. It can be accessed by removing
metal access panels from the back of the range and it
is in the area below the gas burner deck.
