Some of the older Gaucho vehicles have an working ignition switch. Make sure the key is turned to the right to where the key is horizontal. This can be an easy oversight. If this has already been checked, try checking fuses. It is alway better to make sure the simple things are checked before you start spending money on parts. I would not replace switches unless the vehicle moves in one direction but not another. It is very unlikely that both swtiches went bad causing immobilization.

If it does not run in any speed, it may need a new high low switch or reverse switch. The Peg Perego Parts can be found at this website:
http://www.shopjandl.com/asgi0094y.html
they seem to know about these Gauchos and they sell the parts as well.
Hope this helps

Want start after changing battery

Many times when the old battery was dead and a new one put in, the PCM has to relearn its settings. Push the accelerator a bit and see if it wants to idle around 1500rpm. Let it run for a few minutes like this and then release the accelerator.

Try to find one at a salvage yard. Is the rubber track piece supposed to be held on by glue? You might try a good adhesive to make the old track piece stay on.

Red and green lights both blinking and clicking sound is made, after the battery is charged and vehicle wont run... the vehicle is a gaucho 24volt jeep

It could well be the master controller circuit board that is faulty - its the one underneath the seats. If you're in Europe - get in touch with Wacky Wheelers at http://www.wackywheelers.com/shop and they could supply you with a new one

Our Super Gaucho 24volts is 2-years-old and barely used. Now the battery is not lasting to long. Is this normal? I mean, with a more frequent charging/use will its performance be improved? Thx ahead &...

Unfortunately the batteries just lose their holding power after awhile, and if you don't keep them charged every few months (like during winter if your child isn't riding, you still need to charge / refresh the battery every 2 months or so, if it isn't charged for a few months, it'll lose some of it's holding power), that's a very common problem. Our 24V Perego batteries for our Gaucho only seem to last like 30 minutes of constant riding (my son rides non stop sometimes for 30+ minutes). If you check out the site modifiedpowerwheels.com , people convert them to use non Perego batteries that run for much longer!
