Hello.

If the problem occurs from all PCs, the printer, not the PCs, would be the problem. Since the printer is a network printer, the speed of your network could also be the problem, especially if response time (time for the PC system to respond to entered/typed info) is slow during those busy times.

I'd suggest to update the printer's software (driver) to the most current software. If you provide the printer's specs (brand and model) and the operating system of your PCs, I'll search for the link.

You have not given enough info but I'll assume you shared the printer as a standard network printer. This will not work with RPE and Epson. You must install the Epson Ethernet Configuration Utility. This acts like a print server and delivers the print jobs over the ethernet (network). You also must have the proper Epson driver installed for your operating system (not given). This is not always the newest driver!! Repeat, not always the newest driver.

But if this is a new setup, why don't you have their tech support doing it. You paid for it.

Print to a usb printer using cre 10.5, it prints plank small page at the top and at the bottom of each receipt printed. Can any one help


This is fixed by changing the document settings under windows properties for the printer, not in RPE. Right click on your printer and select properties. Choose printing preferences. Click Operations tab. Click End of Document button. In paper cut box, uncheck feed setting and move slider to manual cut. Click OK, then APPLY, then OK, OK.
In RPE, under Friendly Printer Settings, check Cut receipt at this station.

Cannot close server shift due to open tickets that have a preauthorization for credit card but cannot close after adding tip amount.


Not sure if this will help your situation, but it won't hurt to try. Go to OPTIONS, SETUP, SETUP SCREEN. Click the SYSTEM ACCESS tab, then the TIME CLOCK tab. Try changing the EOD ALLOWANCE. Try setting to ignore time clock and allow EOD with on hold transactions.

End of Day report is not printing correctly on the Epson printer. The output seems to be too wide for the printer and the right half of the report is not showing up. What should parameters be set to?


Start by checking the obvious. In FRIENDLY PRINTER SETUP, highlight report and select the proper printer on the right. It must be a full size printer. SAVE AND EXIT.
If those settings were OK, close RPE and open the windows PRINTER screen. Right click on the EPSON printer for reports and click on printer properties. In the properties dialog box, click on PRINT TEST PAGE. If the test page look fine, the printer should work with RPE.
Try other reports under the ADMINISTRATOR setting in RPE. If they are all printing OK, you may have a corrupt END of DAY report file. Reloading RPE should correct this, but all you really need to do is replace the bad file. If you have more than one PC running RPE, you can get this file from them. It is usually under C:\program files\cre.net\reports.

Open table usually means you have an invoice on hold. Check your on hold invoices and clear that up.
Are you trying to delete the #101 Cash Customer. The system should not allow you to do that and might be causing a conflict when you try to run the report.

Dell 720 printer problems..blank page after installing new cartridges..printed for a couple of days then stopped. It will print alignment page and some headers in yahoo , nothing else


Sounds like a driver problem. Try updating the driver.
If that doesn't work I would call dell support and see if they can give you any better advice.

This can be because of that that beside you end corresponding to ink. Try to install new black cartridge.
