When it is cold outside, why won't the heater defrost the windshield without opening the window a little and letting cold air into the car?

This because with the windows closed, you are in a sealed enclosure and you are pulling air from outside and putting the vehicle under pressure. Imagine blowing into a partially inflated balloon without having your lips on the balloon. The pressure restricts the air flow. If you want to keep the windows closed, you should choose the Recirculated Air setting which takes air from INSIDE the car and circles it over the windshield and back into the car.

My Purespa's bubbles wont work. The air pump keeps blasting the air and dislodging this one balloon clog piece. What can I do to make it stop dislodging this piece?

Is it plugged in "All" the way?

Possibly whatever "Retaining" lock grooves that kept it in originally, was smoothed out with the removal of it? Maybe a new piece will correct this?

How much air is contained in a 17 diameter balloon?

It really depends on the shape of the balloon.
If we assume that an air balloon is a sphere, then the volume of the balloon is:

V = (4/3) * Pi * R^3

"R" is the radius of the balloon. The volume might be a bit bigger if it has any bulges on it.

If we assume the balloon is a cylinder, then the volume is

V = L * Pi * R^2

"L" is the length and "R" is the radius of a circular cross-section.

Hi, my son has just kicked his balloon into the return air vent and been taken into the pipe of our ducted heating system.

no louver cover over the vent? If you can see the balloon spray peroxide on it to deflate it and fish the balloon out with an electricians wire feeder

A balloon string got stuck behind the blades of my Lasko three speed stand up fan while it was running. When i pulled the string out the fan never came back on. What needs to be done to get it working...

remove front of fan sheild, you should be able to see a few screws holding sheild on. remove fan blade then fix it. most blades just pull off of motor shaft. good-day!

Hot air balloon does not fire

You will have to have the balloon re-coilled and resin coated

How does it work

In all cases, there is a small, factory-manufactured cylinder of highly compressed gas (usually CO2) with a mechanism on it that perforates a given area when actuated -- for example, by pulling a 'string' or by the action of opening a depressurised aircraft door. A parallel would be tripping the plate on a mousetrap -- all that gas is busting to get out, and when its weak point is compromised, that's exactly what happens. In other words, when the cylinder of gas gets a hole punched into it in the right place, the gas inside floods out -- usually into a big plastic bag in the shape of an inflatable raft or vest. Think of it as, all the air that could fill a big balloon, but wedged into something the size of a medical capsule. Pop the capsule, the balloon fills up. Except it's not air, and it's not a balloon.
