Question about LG WM1812C Front Load Washer
Your Drain Pump is not draining, so the water stays and the machine stops! Or there is a clogged/kinked drain line. Could be that sock your missing! Really. Check the Filter. It is in the Owners Manual on how too and have a towel-bucket ready for the water! Also, unplug the machine first so you don't get a surprising start or Shock!

Testimonial: "Thanks for the information. I have tried all of that. I can see a trickle of water coming out of the back drain hose. The machine does not look like it is getting any water in the drum. When I drained it, there was less than 2 cups of water."

SOURCE: My lg Tromm front load
these units have had alot of problems especially if it is on a pedistal ...they won't admit this is a problem but i have been a lg servicer for over 4 years now and see it everyday ...the unit has a stator on the rear of the tub and on the stator is a device called a hall sensor that goes bad very often... it is what controls the spped and balance of the tub..if the load starts getting unbalanced the hall sensor will tell the motor controller to slow the speed down... most likely this is your problem.... good luck please vote

SOURCE: my washer shows UE code
UE code is an "unbalance error". Believe it or not, it is possible to unbalance a front load style washing machine. Usually caused by trying to wash smaller loads where the drum spins to try to distribute the weight evenly. With less laundry, you cannot distribute enough weight evenly around the drum and sometimes will cause an unbalanced load. If your problem is not a simple loading issue, it could be the balance sensor, loose wiring, or possibly the main control board. I hope this helps.

An UE Error Code is indicative of a “Unbalanced Error”. This indicates that the drum is not spinning in a smooth rotation. It may be necessary to rearrange the load in the drum. Also you have mentioned that the drum with full load has no such problem. It means that the drum cannot manage its weight in that position. So the problem might b adjustable easily. Try to remove the top panel and check for any slight movement in the position of the drum. Leaving it continue this way might increase the probability for the error to be repeated with the load. Will add some links related to internal diagrams of this model when i find some that might help you to check the drum inside.
Good luck with the machine. Please do rate my solution and post comments and results.
