Question about Kenmore Washing Machines
I think I over loaded the machine with heavy towels and now my machine won't spin. The towels are soaking wet. I looked underneath the machine and see a belt but I'm not sure it is on correctly.
If it fill and motor runs but will not agitate it likely is the
coupler. If you have the cabinet off and see the motor here is what you
there are 2 metal straps that attach the motor to the transmission. take the screws out that hold the straps on and pop the straps out of their slots. the motor will then come off and the coupler is between the motor and transmission. One section goes on motor shaft and one on the transmission shaft with rubber bushing in between.
Coupler part number is 285753A
