First try updating to SP2 and then get the latest Windows Updates from Microsoft.com.

If that doesn't fix it, here are some Win2000 drivers for your laptop.

If that doesn't fix it, try these Wacom drivers.

First load the pen driver and calibrate pen, make sure it runs like a regular mouse when you touch points on screen with pen, also use hotpod "right mouse button" to test for right mouse button function.

Next, install your PenX software and reboot, now go back to your pen mouse driver and do "update driver" routine, when looking for driver , go to your PenX folder and look for "mousefilter.inf" or "penfilter.inf ",......... finally go to PenX control panel and configure your pen for preferences.

Hint,
SP2 messed up my pen calibration function so I dropped back to SP1.

Why would I buy this Tablet? (Fujitsu Stylistic LT C-500)

You may be wondering what an antiquated piece of computer's history could do for you, now in the year 2009. The answer may surprise you. This tablet has (when properly fitted) enough power and spirit to run XP, as a matter of fact it runs XP better than the included Windows 2000, or Windows 98SE. The thing makes this device a real possibility is the fact that it's so cheap! You can easily purchase one of these tablets for under $200 on ebay, fully ready to go with Windows 2000. Now... with Windows 2000 your options of what do use this for are a little more limited. The size and power of this device make it a perfect in car and on the go PC. Add a GPS USB dongle (about $40) and Streets and Trips (about $30-$40) and you've got yourself a turn by turn navigation pc. Have alot of .mp3's? Get a FM transmitter (about $20) and you've got music in your car that you control, and it's even cheaper than an iPod. Want to watch movies on the go? Grab a slimline DVD-ROM (about $50) and hook it up to your USB port, or just get a thumb-drive (about $10) and grab those .avi's off of your PC at home. If you've got a little know how you can upgrade the puny 6gb hard drive for something with a little more space, like say 40-80gb (about $40). While your pulling it out why not upgrade to XP... and truly unlock this little tablet's potential. XP allows quicker access to USB devices, more stable program performance, and better tools for your touchscreen experience. XP install is a minor pain in the rear... but worth it in the end. To ensure the best experience upgrade your RAM to the maximum of 256mb (about $20). If your looking for something cheap, reliable, and small enough to fit in your active life, look no farther than the Fujitsu Stylistic LT c-500.

Sir i have reinstalled windows xp just now everything working but not my tablet pen

You need to go to the Tablet manufacturers website and download and install the correct driver, I think that should sort out your problem.
If this doesn't sort it out, then perhaps you have a faulty pen? However my guess is it's just a driver issue.

Need to replace lcd screen on a Fujitsu lt c500

Below is a link to tech support chat page for Fujitsu products. The Fujitsu site does offer a user manual, however, you need a service manual. Being a customer, you should be able to order a service manual for your notebook thru fujitsu. Here is the link for the chat page:
http://solutions.us.fujitsu.com/www/support.shtml?support/support_chat

Here is the link for the user manual:

http://support.fujitsupc.com/CS/Portal/supportsearch.do

This is a good place to start. I hope that you find this information helpful and will leave feedback to that effect if you do.

Thank You,

Brian

Fujitsu LT C-500 pen not working

Hello Zerozero, I hope to be of some assistance to you... I myself have the same tablet and just recently successfully upgraded to XP. Apparently due to licensing issues the pen driver isn't allowed to run on XP. To make it work there's two ways, the hard way involving a software download and much pain, the other way is 'relitivly' easy... lets try that way first. Download the CIC XPen off of the Fujitsu support site... now here comes the interesting part. Unpack the driver to C:\Drivers\Pen once you've unpacked it find the file called fujpen.inf open it in notepad to edit it. You will see:
[ControlFlags] ExcludeFromSelect=*FUJ02B6
Make sure the last digit is 6 in that string... this is saying to exclude that model in the driver. If it's anything other than a 6 change it to a 6. Now then... further down you'll see:
[FPC.Mfg] %FPC.DeviceDesc0% = pendrv, *FUJ02B6
Now... remember what I said about the 6 above? Yeah... the driver is fighting with itself, help it out and change the last number to a 7. Save the .inf file. Go to your device manager right click on the unknown device and update it with the modified file... and presto changeo your touchscreen works!! Now... you'll notice that when you restart it will still say that the pen cannot be started... but this should only limit the CIC software from starting... meaning that to actually write on your tablet you'll need to install microsoft office... it has built in writing pad software, and dictation software (which is my personal favorite). Good luck and God speed! If you have any problems let me know!

Win XP on Fujitsu stylistic lt c-500

Ok... after much slaving, trial and error, and just plain getting frustrated I finally figured out how to install XP on a Fujitsu Stylistic LT c-500 with EVERYTHING working!! The installation is difficult and time consuming but well worth it. Getting XP on the blasted thing is part of the difficult uphill battle... but Mr. Mark Rehorst does a wonderful job of explaining it here. Follow the directions carefully keeping in mind that you MUST have the cd-key for the EXACT CD you use... and that to install XP and get everything to work you really need at least a 20gb hdd and 256mb ram. Without those your system will be slow. Next once XP is up and 'running' you'll notice that your touchscreen is not working.
Now for the other unknown device in there, it is called the Fujitsu FUJ02B1 Device Driver. Unfortunately Fujitsu dosen't include a driver for this... but if you google search it you should come across driverguide.com and they'll have it. You will have to sit through a few ads to get it... but wow... the world that is unlocked by xp on this tiny little pad is amazing! Good luck!
