Hi Patricia,

Find out what size and pitch threads the shank are by using a gauge. If the threads are damaged you can chase the threads. Which means straightening them out for reuse. You can use the nut as the guide when going to a good Automotive Parts Store. Lowes has a good selection as does Home Depot. Fastenal has a endless amount of opportunity. Use the gauges at the site to fit either the bolt or nut.

If this is a matter of just reassembly, often there are dimples and nodules used as locators for each piece of the puzzle to ride into or mate perfectly. Look closely with a magnifying glass as well. There are stamped markings such as A-A etc. I good view as you have offered goes a long way.

Fare. Well.

How to clean carburetor on John Deere JS36 Lawn mower

Indeed, a dirty carburetor can prevent the John Deere JS36 from starting or running correctly. Mine had this problem. A video that helped:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ArCAivgAyww

The video is more in depth than you need but basically shows you what to look for inside the unit. Essentially: Remove the air filter assembly from the carburetor (a couple of bolts). Clamp off the fuel line, disconnect it from the carb. Unbolt the carb from the mower (a few bolts). Disconnect the choke and throttle arms from the top of it. Unscrew the cup from the carb, clean everything out. I used compressed air for all the little fuel channels. Reassemble, reattach.

ICAPP-4 - A Wiki Manual

Cuisinart ICAPP-4 – Iced Cappucino and Hot Espresso Maker – A Wiki Manual
By Tha Mp3 Doctor (who also loves Cuisinart)

Since I am not well-versed in the copyright laws regarding reprinting copies of standard user’s manuals online, I am writing this Wiki Manual for the ICAPP-4. My unit is 12 years old (in 2009) and continues to run strong through two different owners.
General Directions for Making Iced Cappuccinos
- Place carafe on top of drip/tray grate with handle touching right front of ICAPP – the ice fill lines should be visible when looking at front of unit
- Turn “milk knob” to OPEN position, and open lid of ICAPP
- Remove milk container, espresso collector, espresso spinner cup and cover
- Put espresso collector back in place with two plastic teeth facing front of machine
- There is a stepped fill line inside water reservoir that measures off 1,2, and 4 cups
- Fill water reservoir with either 1,2 or 4 fill line cups – do not overfill to avoid damaging the electronics
- Add espresso grounds to espresso spinner cup
- Line up teeth of spinner cup cover with spinner cup so that the cover locks into place
- Fill milk reservoir with 3 oz of milk per cup of iced cappuccino that you plan to make – there is a fill line that measures off 2 cups or 4 cups
- Fill carafe with either 2 cups worth of ice or 4 cups, depending on how much iced cappuccino you plan to make
- Press down on lid and turn milk knob to HEAT postion
- Turn ICAPP on using the ON/OFF button – it will begin to heat – takes about 5-6 minutes (HEAT light will stay on during this process – doesn’t make noise or steam for several minutes)
- When READY light turns green, turn the milk knob to the DISPENSE MILK position – your espresso and milk will start dispensing
- Unit turns itself off automatically when ready – takes several minutes

How to install fuel filter&pump

  • De-pressurize the Camry's fuel system. With the gas cap open (to release pressure in that location), open the fuse/relay panel under the hood and remove the relay labeled "C/OPN." Start the engine and let it run until it stops. Disconnect the battery's negative cable.

  • Detach the rear seat from the car. Lift up the front edge of the seat bottom cushion, disconnect the mounting bolt underneath and remove the cushion. Pull up the seat back locks, flip the seat backs down and remove the mounting bolts.

  • Remove the service hole cover from the floor under the seat concealing the fuel pump/sending unit.

  • Disconnect the fuel line and electrical connectors from the fuel pump unit. Remove the retaining bolts and withdraw the unit carefully out of the fuel tank.

  • Release the clips on the fuel pump assembly's plastic support with a screwdriver to remove the support. Then pull off the rubber isolator, remove the fuel sock filter and disconnect the electrical connector from the top of the assembly. You can now withdraw the fuel pump from the housing.

  • Connect the new fuel pump into place on the assembly housing. Reassemble the fuel pump/sending unit in order, from the electrical connector to the fuel sock filter, rubber isolator and bottom plastic support.

  • Place the pump unit back within the fuel tank and reattach the bolts. Reconnect the electrical connectors and the fuel line. Reattach the rear seats.

  • Replace the "C/OPN" relay, reconnect the negative battery cable and fill the fuel tank if it is empty.

  • Pressurize the Camry's fuel system by turning the ignition on for a couple of seconds. Then turn it off for ten and repeat this five to ten times.

The string on my duel fed grasshog is wrapped hopelessly underneath the spinner. How do I get the thing apart?

    Hi There,

Hey, it happens. But line is cheap compared to the time it may take to dismantle and then reassemble the unit. Especially if you're at a clients.

I use wire cutters and needle nose pliers to clear that birds nest quickly.

If the unit has a habit of tangling, just use less line when loading.

    Call this an alternative solution.

    Best regards,
    Mike

Older model kitchen aid 2 speed quitet scrub just wont turn on. but will work in the rince mode however no water either. Perhaps its the timer but I don' know how to check that or replace it either.

Timers are not that hard to replace. Disconnect the power to the washer. There are two screws that hold the panel that contains the timing unit and other controls at the base of the unit, they go in about a 45 degree angle. Take those out and the panel will flip backwards and is hinged. Pry off the timer control knob. Separate the harness that is going into the timing unit. There will be screws on the back that hold down the timing unit or a nut in the front behind the control knob. Check to see if the knob has a set screw or allen type fastener. Replace the unit, reassemble and replug into the wall. Good Luck, Jim

LX10 won't come into focus. I'm not talking about blurry stars-it won't focus at all.

The focus knob connects to a small "rod" attached to the mirror housing. The rod may have slipped out of the small hole in the end of the focuser (inside).

Remove the focuser and reattach the "rod".

    Noise when running

UPDATE, I took the dishwasher apart (lower filter and strainer area, below lower spinner arm) and voila there it was, 2-3 pieces of plastic actually more like the broken corners off some reuseable containers and some unpopped popcorn seeds. Once I took these out and reassembled it was the test drive...everything was back to normal, no more forcing/ grinding sounds. Relatively simple tear down and reassembly if you have toric bits (5 star). Maybe I was lucky or maybe it's fixed, either way the noise is gone for me. If you do it you might want to do it after a wash/dry cycle and tear down when the plastic is still warm (plastic gets briddle with age, heat and detergent. Good Luck
