Ge GHWN4250DOWW washer tub seems loose and "off kilter" making a horrible racket when spinning

Could be bad shock absorbers. Google that washer model number, and at the same time shock absorbers, and see if it has them. If it does, I bet their broke. Ebay 10 - 30 bucks. easy fix. Good luck

Frigidaire stackable fills up and will not agitate but the final spin works fine. already replaced timer & pressure switch but it still wont agitate

Hello Jeremy,

Does the washer do anything on the agaitate cycle...and sounds being made or is it just sitting their till it drains and spins??

You ya hear what sounds like it should be agaitating yet it doesn't ya would need to check the agaitator drive block which is under the agaitator or also check the the transmission pulley

I want to say check the timer if no noise but i know its new so its a mechinal problem as opposed to a electrical one

Hello,

Your washer is close to the one in the video but as you know not exact..that agitator coupler shown in the video bolts down under the agaitator. To remove your agaitator which locks into teh agaitator as shown just pulls off....so to remove your just grab the bottom of it and pull straight up and off of the agottaor coupler.

Removal of the Agiator

Hello,

To remove that agitator all that needs to be done is grasp it from the bottom of it very near the bottom of the inner tub and tug and pull it off...it has a center hub under of the agaitator and the agitator fits on to that hub by several locking tabs and simply pulling up on the base will allow the agaitator to come off.

All cycles on my washing machine work, but machine will not agitate. What are possible solutions to fix the issue? It is a Hotpoint, top load, model # is vvsr1070daww

Hello,

The most probable thing causing it to not agitate is going to be stripped/broken agaitator coupler.
The video will show you to take out the agitator and check for a defective agaitator coupler
