To cancel the passcode on a Surf Onn tablet through the parental control settings, you will need to follow these steps:
Open the tablet's Settings app.
Scroll down and tap on the "Parental Controls" option.
Enter the passcode for the parental controls.
Tap on the "Set Passcode" option.
Enter the current passcode and then leave the "New Passcode" and "Confirm New Passcode" fields blank.
Tap on the "Done" button to remove the passcode.
Keep in mind that the steps for canceling the passcode on a Surf Onn tablet may vary depending on the specific model of the tablet and the version of the operating system that it is running. If you are unable to follow the steps above or if you are having trouble accessing the parental control settings, you may need to refer to the tablet's user manual or contact the manufacturer for assistance.
Just go onto your amazon account and "manage your device" and deregister it. That resets the parental control password. Go to the device and hit resync. When that's done go into the settings gear, my account, and register it using your amazon account info.
As for me, Phonty - most popular parental control app today. Using https://phonty.com/ Parental Controls you can set various safety options, control in-app purchases and monitor who is on your kid's Contact List. Access to Parental Controls is password protected.
Depends on what you are trying to do. To use the Nabi2 as an adult tablet, put it into mommy or daddy mode, then use the settings to have it run in parent mode as the default.
Other apps have parental controls, but I think you may be looking to have it turn on into parent mode.
There may be many possible reasons but one notable cause is your user details. If you do a tiny mistake in filling out the log in details, the application or site won't recognise you and you will be denied access.
Another cause would be due to user control settings - for laptops and tablets administered by another person, eg. parental controls set by parents on their children's computers.
I had the same issue with my Tabeo today. After trying to reset it several times, and having the same issue on th 3/4 page of the setup, I tried another way, and it worked. So, I reset it, and then when the parental control setup page 1/4 came up, I typed the http address exactly as it was on tabeo, on my windows pc...all of it. This opened the same page on my windows pc. Then I just filled out the pages, and entered my credit card info, to be charged that 1 dollar, that is refunded 30-60 days later. This let me complete the setup. As soon, as it was done, the page on my tabeo, updated at the same time, and the parental controls were setup!! its screwy, but it worked..hope it will work for you too.
If you are receiving a message on your Meep of 'Times Up!', please try the following steps:
1. Register your Meep. Many of the capabilities of the Meep require the parent account to exist which puts the Meep into our system.
2. Adjust your parental settings to allow for times of use. You must set a time limit for every type of allowed activity and then save those settings. If you did set up permissions and you have the Times Up message, check that your settings are the way you set them and haven't been changed.
3. Update your Meep to our latest firmware version using our Meep Ota App available in the Meep Store and through Google Play. Earlier operating versions are linked to the Times Up issue.
If you still have a Times Up message:
1. It could be an issue within your browser in that it's retaining old settings and not updating them. Try clearing the browser cache and/or disabling extensions within your browser. Another option is our Meep Together smartphone app which can also be used to adjust parental settings instead of the portal website.
2. It could be your Meep is not connecting at this time to our servers thus not being able to receive the updated settings. Check that you show a green dot which means you are connecting to us or send a Private Message with your serial # and we can check the connection from our side.
3. Another option that bypasses servers is that you can update the settings right from the Meep's own parental control interface, assuming you are on version 2.1. Additionally, within the parental app on the Meep, you can reset the timer for the Meep with the reset button, the small circular icon in the upper right hand corner of the time management screen. Once reset, you can adjust the settings as you wish.
