My printer will not feed paper, when it tries to

My PIXMA IP 4200 printer will not feed paper, when it tries to print there is an awful clattering sound, can this be fixed? it looks as if there is a large part of the printer blocking the paper path.

Many thanks

Hugh

The rubber rollers that feed the paper might be dusty so the paper slips

My Canon Pixma iP 1800 colour printer will not print

Try an look into the paper feed area and see if anything is preventing the paper from advancing. Also look for broken or worn parts. If you dont see anything in the way or broken then you will more then likely need to replace the Auto Sheet Feeder Assembly. If the problem still persists then it would be a logic board issue. These can be spendy and if you dont know what your doing it might be better to just go buy a new printer.

Big black vertical line on back of the paper.PIXMA CanoniP4200

Your black ink seems to have spilled a bit at the nozzle. The fact is even if you do nothing it should seize staining the back of the paper after a while, so long as the spill is only temporal. But if you want it over with quickly, you may try printing quite good number of pages till you see that the stops. With every print you will most certainly observe that the stain will reduce. Otherwise if you can reach into the printer with a stick or something, you may try to clean it.

Printer always prin at the to of the page and then it will parer jam but no paper is in it to jam up I have a canon bjc-4200 and I like the print that it dose

hi there,
This problem mostly caused by another material (such as broken paper, etc) present in paper path prevent paper to reach paper cam sensor. Check inside your printer and clear paper path from another material. You can also try to clean paper feed roller. If problem still persist, replace paper feed roller

Canon pixma ip 8500 won't feed paper

I have discovered that my problem was a one inch nail which had at some time been dropped into the paper feed slot. It could not be seen from the outside of the printer and was only discovered when I removed the side trim and top cover. When closely inspecting the nylon roller system that feeds the paper out, I saw a tiny piece of metal that looked out of place. Further probing then loosened the nail back to the paper input area.
My printer is now back in full operating condition after spending a couple of careful hours finding out how to remove the trim.
A well worth while exercise in my case.
