Sounds like you have some bad gas Shay, try putting some STP gas treatment in your gas tank the next time you put gas in.

Galaxcy DX 66v freq counter and radio slide up and down 3-5 clicks. Not all the time. Nothing I do seems to help

27.385 is perfect for SSB but when you get anything really off freq like if it changes to 27.38334 then it bad but as long as it stays within the 27.385 area as 27.387 to 27.383 you are still considered on freq,If its really that bad send it or take it to a tech and let them adjust it for you.

set your mode for AM with frequency counter reading 26.965 mhz on band E. ( channel 1 ) Now you have to adjust VR 1 for 26.965 mhz if its not reading it already . Now set the counter and the radio to 27.405 mhz ( channel 40 ) check for 27.405 mhz . If its off by .003 to .005 thats really nothing but if its off by .3 to .5 thats when it really off frequency .

What FM frequency does the radio need to be on to use a wireless Disney Mickey mouse microphone?

Each microphone has a different FM Freq. If you can not find a Freq there is a very small hole in the mic near the Mic switch. You will need a jewlers screwdriver to make a freq. adjustment. Hold down the applause button while very close to your FM radio. Use manual tuning on your FM radio until you hear applause. If there is a local station playing on the Freq you can insert the jewelers screwdriver into the small hole and change the FM Freq for the Mic. You only need to make "fractional adjustments" to change the Freq. setting. Once you make a mic freq. adjustment change the radio freq SLIGHTLY up and down until you hear the applause.

This should get anyone going that is having difficulty with this microphone.

Thanks for choosing FixYa.

I have a galaxy saturn turbo that is in tx as soon as you turn it on with no mike hooked up and i will not alow you to change freq.

The T?R diode or transistor is shorted, this requires a technician to make repairs, I do not recommend home repair on this type of fault....

I have a new RCI 2995DX . that after 1-2 mounths it go's off frek

Have you herd it off freq? Do you have a freq counter? How do you know that the person that told you it sounds off freq don't have their receive off freq?

if its on a freq counter, and shows not off freq, then the radio is not off freq. There is some other problem.. Or no problem because if it is just some one else saying it, maybe they are just too picky.

Things that could cause your audio to change. If its in your mobile, diving around will make your audio sound different to people. Antenna or feed line problems. If there is a problem with your antenna or feed line, it could make your audio sound bad or off to some one else.

Also, if this unit has been modded, has the clarifier been unlocked? if so that will change your TX freq.

If the unit is new and nothing has been done to it, there should be no reason why it is off freq unless some one has done something to it.

Rolling Frequency Counter

I'm giving this info from the Master Edition of C.B. Tune-up manual Volume 1 year -1995. The original price of this info was $39.95 But I have had people help me with radio info. so here it is---- on page 60 it says [ Model ] : Galaxy Saturn ( and export models using the same Freq. counter module ) The most common problem with the { Galaxy Saturn } is after it has been on for awhile the read-out becomes unstable. And sometimes it will quit all together. This problem has been traced to a Zener Diode inside the freq, counter module. The square silver box located right behind the speaker. The Zener Diode inside marked D-603. This is a 2.4 volt , 1/4 watt diode next to IC-609 the ( LM-7808 ) regulator. REMEDY: change D-603 to a ( 2.4 volt , 1/2 watt diode) This should restore normal operation. {{{{ 357 - MAVERICK }}}
