Just type your model number in the Google and type your question and step but step process.

A bad IMEI usually means the phone was reported stolen. This would render it blacklisted (at least in the US). Its best you try your luck in a different country.
PS IMEI is basically a serial #tied into the hardware of the phone there is no way to change it unless you change certain components and if you knew how to do that then you wouldnt be asking this question.

Step 1: Please press on Phone on the home screen and dial *#06#; this will automatically display the handset's IMEI.


Step 2: You can get the IMEI and serial number of your handset by pressing MENU from the home screen > Settings > About phone > Phone Identity.


Step 3: Another way is by taking the back cover and battery out, the IMEI is printed on the sicker at the back of the handset.
