SOURCE: I cant remove the base

Hi. On the back panel just above the inputs and in the centre of the unit you will see 5 X phillips head screws (4 in a square pattern and 1 in the center of these). If you remove these screws completely the base will withdraw from the unit. Note that the washers will be a tight fit when removing and only just fit through the rear panel so use a magnetic driver or blue tack to help. Cheers. Slavious.

I have a Soniq LCD 42" Television (I believe its a QSL400XT model) and I have removed the black base of the stand but I can't remove the white cylinder part. How can I remove this part?

For Soniq 42" LCD TV - there's a series of screws on the rear panel underneath the plug sockets, remove the screws and the base will pull right out.

Cant find how to remove the stand on our newly purchased Soniq QSL323CT1 anywhere in the manual. We are trying to mount it on the wall.

Hi,
1. Disconnect all cables.
2. Cover a level and stable surface with a thick and soft cloth.
3. Gently lay the TV, face down, onto the cloth. Make sure the Table-Top stand is hanging over the edge.
4. Rotate the cable holder 90 degrees, and pull it out completely.
5. Remove the screws (3 or 4 in rear next to cable holder, depending on which model wall-mount kit you have) being sure to hold the Table-Top-Stand firmly while removing the last screw.
6. Do not remove any other screws from the TV.
They also say not to remove the stand for any reason other than wall-mounting the TV. Their should be instructions with the wall-mount kit.
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Smith.
