Every different type of home ovulation kit works differently so it\'s important to read the labels on the box. Generally, here\'s how it works: Every morning you wake up, starting 7 days after the beginning of your last period, you urinate on one of the sticks. If a smiley face appears on the little screen then you are ovulating. This means that you have about 2 days from the time the smiley face appears to conceive. The little stick knows that you are ovulating because it tests a hormone that is present when a follicle starts to move down one of your tubes.

I finishf my last period on the 7 may and i am now 5 wks and 4 days pregnant on the 15 july 2014 when did i ovulate

It sounds as if you ovulated right around May 10, if you\'re completely sure of exactly how long you\'ve been pregnant. I\'m not quite clear how you have the date pinpointed so precisely, though - five weeks and four days? How you can be so sure, down to the day? Were you only sexually active on one day in May?

How come fertility monitors aren't reliable if you have polycystic ovaries?

The reason you should not use fertility or ovulation monitors with polycystic ovaries is that they are known to cause false positives. Your body may be letting off hormones that signify ovulation but in actuality you are not ovulating. There is no physical danger or harm caused by using one of these kits if you have PCOS. Women with PCOS are recommended against using them because they are unreliable and therefore a waste of your money.

Eaton ex1000 pulsar ups - fault led is constantly on, removed line and load voltage. will not reset. No error on screen.

Cyrus, Eaton will never be the same again. The fault led suggests a permanent disconnect with the articulation franchise of the ovulation event monitor. Reset will not help.

How long after ovulation do you need to wait before taking a pregnancy test?

That really varies. Some people could get a result on a home pregnancy test within 10-14 days after ovulation but most people need to wait until the first day of a missed period.

I feel REALLY down, I Am Never Going To Get A Baby Girl?

Other people would say, it does not matter what gender your baby will be and that is a natural reaction but to some, this is a serious concern. Stop worrying, Gender Selection Clinic is the solution to your problem if you are really serious about it. Technology and science have made it possible for people to get pregnant and to choose the gender of their kids. The embryo gender selection IVF is being performed by medical doctors around the world. This system has been proven for decades. The success rate of having a girl is 93%. This method though is a bit expensive but if you really want it, then the cost would not be a problem to you. Both you and your husband must have an open mind on this. Otherwise, it will create misunderstanding between the two of you.

What are the chances of getting pregnant having *** the day after your period?

You can get pregnant whether you're having your period or not. If you have ***, you can get pregnant.

However, it's not as common as other times. You get pregnant during ovulation, which for the average women is every 28 days. Most women on a regular 28-day cycle are supposed to ovulate on or around day 14 of the cycle (13 days after the first day bleeding begins). The first day of your period is day 1.
But not all women ovulate every 28 days. Some even ovulate during their period. Always use a condom or another form of birth control if you don't want to become pregnant.
***** can live for about 3 days inside of you, so even if you have intercourse on the last day of your period, it can live for awhile. Remember that some women ovulate earlier than others.

Hi I just recieved my blood test results & I have abnormal progestrone levels. what does this mean and is this serious?

Progesterone is a steroid hormone involved in the female menstrual cycle, pregnancy (supports gestation) and embryogenesis of humans and other species. Progesterone belongs to a class of hormones called progestogens, and is the major naturally occurring human progestogene.
In women, progesterone levels are relatively low during the preovulatory phase of the menstrual cycle, rise after ovulation, and are elevated during the luteal phase. Progesterone levels tend to be < 2 ng/ml prior to ovulation, and > 5 ng/ml after ovulation. If pregnancy occurs, progesterone levels are initially maintained at luteal levels. With the onset of the luteal-placental shift in progesterone support of the pregnancy, levels start to rise further and may reach 100-200 ng/ml at term. Whether a decrease in progesterone levels is critical for the initiation of labor has been argued and may be species-specific. After delivery of the placenta and during lactation, progesterone levels are very low. Progesterone levels are relatively low in children and postmenopausal women.[19] Adult males have levels similar to those in women during the follicular phase of the menstrual cycle.
Depending on the level actually, it could post to be a very serious threat or not so harmful,
The best way to go about this is to see a doctor and see if they have anything supplements regarding your issue of progesterone. They should be able to help you out on this situation.
Hope this helps? Please comment for more information and thank you for using fixya.
