If it's an iPhone, there is a setting you can turn off and on to show the percentage of charge your battery has left. You can also get an app to tell you that and more.

What can my problem be

such symptoms usually occur only when the battery is weak and need to be replaced.
- other reasons can be:
1) a faulty charger
2) a bad cable
-change to another electric outlet
-let the iPad be connected with the charging cable while using
-to have a better control about battery status activate battery percentage display to ON in the settings
How to see the battery percentage in my iPhone's status bar.:
- The iPhone ships with this feature disabled by default, and Apple hides the option away within the device's general settings. So, here's how to enable it!
Open up the Settings app on your iPhone and tap on the 'General' tab. You'll see an option "usage"
then you'll see an option for 'Battery Percentage' - simply turn this on and your iPhone will now display your remaining percentage next to the battery indicator in the status bar.

Hi

Thanks for posting in Fixya

1st of all did you try on the other laptop with the same model and make? if yes then did you check in windows if the battery of that laptop is showing it is charging?

Try to remove the main battery keep pressing the power button for 15 - 20 secs. then release it. now connect the charger directly to the laptop and try to turn on.

If you want to install the battery back do not insert when the laptop is running. Turn it off and then install the battery back and load windows later check if the OS shows that battery is getting charged

Battery percentage is decreasing...

If your battery is a lithium ion battery then according to the folks at Battery University:
"The worst condition is keeping a fully charged battery at elevated temperatures, which is the case with running laptop batteries. If used on main power, the battery inside a laptop will only last for 12-18 months. I must hasten to explain that the pack does not die suddenly but begins with reduced run-times"
see their website at : http://www.batteryuniversity.com/parttwo-34.htm
Hope that helps.

Turn Signals work intermitently on 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Pickup

My turn signals worked fine until last night when I ran my battery down and had to get a jump. I realized right away that my turn signals suddenly didn't work. My theory hasn't been tested, but I am going to unhook my battery cables and reconnect again to see if that does anything. If not, I'll check out the steering wheel and that big square thing by the fuses. Thank you for all the posts and I was so happy to find this web page!
