The projectors periodically go to a blue screen in the middle of a presentation.

The two projectors we have in a conference room periodically go to a blue screen and then come back up after a while.I can't simulate the problem when I try, but the users of this room complain that it is getting worse. Is this an inherrent problem with these projectors or are the two that I have just lemons? Could it be a problem with the code in the AMX control system?

Why the projector automatically turns off after certian period say about 2 hours?

Does it turn off with a computer/video signal going to the projector? If it's just a blue screen, there's a timer within the projector that can be disabled. If there's a signal present, make sure the projector has good ventilation. If you're located in a high elevation, there's an option within the user menu to select "high elevation", which makes the RPM of the internal fans spin faster for better internal ventilation.

Blue cloud in the middle of our Hitachi 62VS69A Screen. Lamp went out and after replacing it we now have a blue cloud in the middle of our screen. Is it a bad lamp or could it be more than that?

if it is an lcd projector, its possible the lamp blew due to fan failure and the lamp getting hot prior to failure may have been enough to burn the lcd's. If it is an lcd projector, that's most likely what has happened

Sharp XGP25X Projector has large blue smudge on Screen

This is one of two things. Most likely there is a piece of dust or other obstruction right on top of the blue panel. I'm guessing that your smudge is in the lower center of the screen - that is where these usually occur. The other possibility is that the blue LCD panel is starting to deteriorate and the components separating. This is extremely expensive to repair and Sharp will end up giving you an estimate that approaches the replacement cost for a comparable new projector.

Mp610 blue/black screen

Hi there

If the problem occurs again , you will most probably have to replace the mainboard , as all the inputs of the unit lies on the mainboard itself.
