Question about Dell Latitude L400 Notebook
I have been given a dell latitude l400 laptop, it has windows nt on it but will not boot up. I have tried an external usb cd drive with xp disc in it but doesn't even make cd light flash so doesn't no its there. how can i install a new operating system on this as it looks a nice compact laptop but is as much use as a doorstop at moment, please help
Firstly, put cd on the dvd rom drive. Boot up machine and press directly F12, it wil give you an option whether to boot up machine. Choose boot up my cd drive then it will read your cd and install the OS.
