Problem for Motorola W315 Cellular Phone

I have Motorola W315. When i want to send a text, in the entry mode, my secondary type disappeared. All i have is primary, numeric and symbol. It was there and then it was gone. Now I have to type each letter instead of it giving me the word or possible word.
