Check your video card but if the game is for ps3 you can't played on the pc if you want to play this game on pc you need a special software very dificulty

Call of duty ghosts on steam server


I doubt it. Directx is not usually something people scam. Chances are you have a driver that didn't install properly in the system. Go to microsoft website and re-install the direct x drivers. This should fix your problem.

I would re-install direct X. I would also advise you will get more accurate help if you post in the correct section. The "Computer Servers" section is not the place for game related issues. PC Laptop or PC Desktop would be far better.

Prestige up in Call of Duty Ghosts


You can prestige each player up by playing Multi-Player online. You gain one prestige level for your account for each solder, and the prestige doesnt reset like in older call of dutys. In squad mode, you will gain xp and rank up. right what sort of system are you running (specs wise)

ghosts is a new PC game if your hardware is a few years old it may not be supported or meet the minimum requirements.

if you have got a flashy PC then my advice would be try compatibility mode (probably wont work) or try updating the drivers especially your graphics driver.

if you are still having trouble try changing what DirectX version you are using

Ghost 2003 isn't going to be aware of partitions over 1TB; its notion of 32bit is of course cruftier than Win7's. That said, it sounds like either the target partition (or disk) is smaller than when you started or you didn't check the box to overwrite the partition/disk/whatever. It's easy to miss a checkmark and be stuck waiting 4 minutes for Ghost to report what's obvious...obvious if all the information's in front of you. That's definitely a pencil-in-hand application, Ghost is. Have another go.

Just make sure you have the space and that Ghost knows you want to write over it. You can (almost) always restore a partition to a new disk and tell it to use the whole disk for the partition (make it bootable, etc.)

I keep getting the message 2010


After a BIOS upgrade or installation of a new hard drive, the following error message may appear at POST: ERROR
2010: Warning: Your internal hard disk drive (HDD) may not function correctly on this system. Ensure that your HDD is supported on this system and that the latest HDD firmware is installed. Press <Esc> to continue

Press <F1> to Setup
The system appears to boot normally after escape is pressed and the operating system will load.
Solution There are three possible workarounds to eliminate the error:
  1. Update the hard drive firmware to the latest level. Download the hard drive firmware update, and then apply to your hard drive.
    Note: This update requires a floppy disk drive.
  2. Replace the hard drive with one supported by the system being used.
  3. Use the hard drive, producing the 2010, error in the Ultrabay of the system or a docking station with the second hard drive adapter instead. The interface to the Ultrabay is parallel ATA. For more information visit, ThinkPad Second Hard Drive Adapter for Ultrabay Slim - Overview
Additional information This error is purposely generated to alert the user to potential problems with diagnostic or copy tools. There are known issues with several of these listed below.
  1. Disk Fitness Test (DFT) version 3.xx provided by Hitachi GST which uses vendor specific commands on the hard drive. These may not be correctly interpreted since they must pass through the serial to parallel ATA bridge. However, version 4.00 or later of the Disk Fitness Test (DFT) will work.
  2. HDDTEST version 0.28 by Hitachi GST does not function properly for similar reasons. Instead, use HDDTEST version 0.29 or later.
  3. DOS-based copy tools may function slowly or produce incorrect output, specifically previous versions of Norton/Symantec Ghost. These versions are not compatible with the Serial-ATA interface of the Intel ICH6M chip set. Documentation on this problem may be found at www.symantec.com. It is recommended to use either a newer version of Ghost, Norton Ghost 2003 (version 2003.789 or later) or Symantec Ghost 8.0 or later, or to use the -FNI switch when invoking Ghost from the command prompt (For example, Ghost.exe -FNI with the current version of Ghost).
Other disk copy tools and related applications, such as some backup programs, may also have similar behavior. The hard drives shipped in the affected systems will not display the message because they already have firmware that recognizes this new Serial ATA bridge chip. However, a similar drive from an earlier ThinkPad system or an OEM drive might cause the error message to be displayed. Customers may also notice the POST error message after applying a ThinkPad BIOS update if a drive without the firmware update is installed in the system. Some early systems were shipped with a system BIOS version that did not provide this POST error message. Updated BIOS has been released to provide this informative POST error message to users.

Trying to reinstall norton ghost v14


you need to remove Norton with Nortons own removal tools. Add/remove program not the same thing as it leaves stuff in the registry. Go to norton.com and get removal tool..Run it, then try the re-install.

GHOST ERROR CODE


If you are refering to Error: "19205 Compression error -4 while creating a spanned or split image" this is a bug on Norton Ghost. It has no Fix. You may try using a Larger Size settings for your image to remove the need to split images. Also try saving the backup file on a larger HDD. Try using a higher version or Use Acronis Disk Image instead. Its a lot stable than NGhost.
