Please check the timing. And put on the needle properly. As soon as call the new brand machine shop or company mechanic.

Lervia KH4000 sewing machine. When a spool is inserted the needle seems to hit it and won't move. The machine has been sewing perfectly till now

The needle is hitting the bobbin case? Try a brand new needle and if that doesn't fix it, the machine's timing is probably off. Search for sewing machine timing or take it for service.

Bobbin doesn't move so that needle can pull thread up from bobbin

If the tail is long enough on the bobbin thread and the top thread does not pick it up, try a brand new needle. A bent/damaged needle sometimes will not pick up the bobbin thread. If a new needle doesn't help, then your machine is probably out of time. Search for sewing machine timing or take it for service.

Have new never used singer simple 3232, tension was tight n I tried to use it n locked asap hand wheel/ pedal frozen needle wont move. no thread is apparently at fault. How do I proceed?

Return it if you can, I have seen these brand new with seized needle bars before. You can try putting a drop of oil on the needle bar where it goes through the supports and gently working the handwheel until you can get it moving.

If it's a brand new machine, immediately return it where you purchased it. They should provide you with a properly working machine.

No stitches appear in fabric. Top and bottom threads seem to be threaded properly, fabric moves, needle moves in and out of fabric but no stitches are formed.

Install a brand new needle. Verify that it is threaded properly. If it still will not stitch, the machine has probably been knocked out of time. You can search the internet for web sites & videos regarding sewing machine timing or take it for service.

You can search for a manual:

Make Model manual

or contact manufacturer support.

My needle keeps breaking as it is hitting the spool case, it seems as if somethings moved out of line ?

Try a brand new needle. If that doesn't work, the machine is most likely out of time. Search the internet for sewing machine timing or take it for service.

Why does it make a knocking noise as it sews?

the needle position is up tight in the holder and no where else
the cut away bit of the needle faces the bobbin case hook and the groove in the needle faces the end of the machine and gives clearance for the thread to pass through the material
from your description and what you did, the needle /hook timing needs adjusting as it is out
turn the machine over by hand as in sewing and watch the position of the eye of the needle and the bobbin case hook
just as the needle starts to move up, the hook should be just above the eye of the needle at the edge of the needle
The adjustment is by loosing off the screw on the vertical shaft at the end of the machine that is attached to an arm that moves the needle up and down and move that bit up or down until the needle is positioned correctly to the hook
tighten up the screw
next is to check the needle tension is not too tight
workshop manuals are available on line in pdf version or take it to a sewing machine repair shop for a proper diagnosis

Euro-Pro sewing machine model9130H needle moves sideways and thread clogs up when starting to sew

Be sure to install a brand new needle.

If the needle bar is moving to the side when set on a straight-stitch, there is probably something loose or bent in the machine. Would recommend having it checked by a technician. Could also be the cause of the thread clumping or could be something else going on.

Adjust bobbin tension

Main reasons tension is fouled up: machine is threaded incorrectly, or thread or lint is collected in bobbin compartment. Also, if needle is dull and causing snagging that messes with fabric moving smoothly through pressure feed, you have tension issues. Try those fixes first. Good luck. Needle sharpness is an issue for many new sewers...needle doesn't feel dull, but if you do big projects or really tough fabric, try changing needle every other project or so....and if you are sewing very delicate fabric, you want a brand new needle so it doesn't get snagged......

My brand new machine Brother PC 420 is making a clunking noise as the needle moves as if the timing may be off? What is this?

Make sure that your needle is inserted all of the way up, maybe even install a new one, just to be sure. Recheck your threading, with presser foot up, pull top thread, should pull smoothly, now put the presser foot down, pull again, should barely move. If, you are sewing on a bare table, try putting a bath towel under it. If, noise continues, return it and get a new one.
