Re: Apple keyboard

After looking over the Apple knowledge base...

It appears to be recognized as a universal key. If you need to use it and have not found a way around it, I would copy if from an email, paste it onto a stickie and paste it when needed.

Not a true solution, but for now it should work,

Hope this helps.

After moving, hooked up our Apple IMAC with wireless mouse, cjecked batteries, but mouse will not work.

Use keyboard to open control panel and get to bluetooth using keyboard shortcuts and set to allow all devices and restart.

I bought an imac g 3350 . never had a mac before

Download your program. Make sure it is for YOUR OS. A .dmg should appear on your desktop when it is finished. Double click that. It should open a file with an application icon and a drive icon on the desktop. Open your applications folder from your hard drive, then drag the application icon to that. Eject the drive icon from the desktop by dragging it to the trash.

Blueberry iMac with slot-loading CD rom drive will

It would be very difficult to open up the imac to retrieve the disc as the CD drive is totally enclosed and would probably result in it not be functional after removing the disk. Have a look at the following article on the apple website as it does indicate that the slot loading imac does have a hole for paperclip ejection. You could also try opening up disk utility and and clicking on the icon of your disk under the left hand column then go up to eject button and click eject. Hope this helps.

I have a brand new I-Mac with Snow Leopard. I just bought a Gear Head KBL8000WRBT keyboard and mouse set. I started with the mouse. The computer recognizes it, but won't pair with it.

Since iMacs are not primarily designed to run with equipment like this (They can run it, but the equipment usually says 'No! I don' know what you are!') Try using the apple Magic mouse. (I'm not sure if they have a W/L keyboard.)

apple store, ebay, craigslist, depends on what OS you want on it. What are you trying to do? If it is web surfing look on Ebay for like OS 10.1 or 10.2.

The problem is definitely on the computer - software side. as both of the keyboards work fine, its just a software issue. Can you get the original software back to your mac?
