Question about Dymo LabelWriter 400 Thermal Printer
Disconnecting power and re-connecting will work, but only temporarily.
In order to fix, you need to upgrade the printers firmware...

Yeah so i called support and then they give you some bs other support number. anyway, i was having the same problem as you all. what you need to do is go to printers and faxers, right click on the dymo printer and go to properties. click on the ports tab. if the bidirectional support checkbox is checked at the bottom, that's your problem. just uncheck that little box and it click apply. it should fix everything. print a test page to confirm. it will print like half of the windows logo. this means "problem solved."

Well, I just tried what Circus suggested, the labels are advancing but not printing :(

I had the same problem which can be fixed by unplugging the printer from the power for 10 seconds and plug back in. However it will potentnialyl do it again, you need to contact Dymo for the new driver.

I have had the same problem, even tried installing on w different pc's still no success. Help desk useless..

I have tired the removing the bidirectional and it worked for a bit but was spitting out extra paper every print job. Lately it just stop working all together any other suggestions. Have tired everything.
