Either the handset has poor receiver sensitivity or the base unit too little RF output so if you have no warranty, there is little chance you can get either of these repaired for less than the cost of replacement.

I have a GE-21850 phone and I can't get it to register with its base.I have tried everything the manual says I should do.

Hi.

Try to remove the battery for about 30 secs and put it back in. DO you have a wireless router at home? If you do, this could interfere the registration process. Turn the router off first before registering.

Let me know if this works. Thank you!

Is it possible to buy a power adapter for uniden cordless N32 for the main phone model wdect2355+2 also if available the cost WDECT wideband digital

You can purchase power adapters at this link:
www.lcdpayless.com. On upper left of page search for Uniden wdect power adapter. The price is $9.99.

I found a Uniden wdect 3355+1 (two handsets; one on answering machine and one stand alone). this is a wideband (64kbps-2mbps) phone/ans. mach. It's priced at $149.95 at Yahoo shoping. The wdect2355 that you have apparently is no longer offered.

Please let me know if this is a satisfactory answer.

My phones don't work they all say

Unusual problem on a new phone. Could possibly be radio frequency interference close by.

Some cordless phones operate on the same frequencies as in-home wireless networks. I believe this is the 2.8 megahertz frequency. The phones and the wireless networks can interfere with each other.

Most newer cordless phones are higher frequency (5.8 megahertz?). Wireless networks shouldn't interfere with those phones, but there could be other things that could (e.g., transformers on power poles).

If the phones are new, you might consider taking them back and getting another model.

Cordless phone has volume problems with DSL

For starters that dsl modem should not be filtered.
You should place the splitter directly into the wall jack and place the filter on the side used for the phone. The side feeding the dsl line should not be filtered.
The filter serves 2 purposes. 1 it reduces data noise interference onto the voice line. 2 it prevents dsl interference from voice such as picking up and hanging up the receiver.

Interference on recorded messages.

"I" only charge a simple membership fee of $19.95 to share my "PREMIUM ASSITANCE PLAN" success. I am so sorry that I wasted your time, and my time, for a simple question. Lessons to you in the future- don't expext anything for free. My problem is solved, without any help from your solution, that I never got because of money issues. I didn't use any help topics or pay for them, so I am money ahead! So much for my warranty, right? All I did to fix this problem was......?
Sincerely, the problem solver,

Uniden 6.0 with 2 handsets

Unplugged all telephones but one and still had trouble so I called Verizon. They discovered it was an incoming line that was malfunctioning. However, the Uniden telephone system still does not work and since it is still under warranty I will contact them.
To continue the solution of my telephone problem - It was discovered that the incoming line was indis repair. After it was repaired, I again set up my Uniden telephone system. It works with no problem. The word "searching"still appears on the face of the units, but it can be overcome with normal activity on the units.

INCOMING CALLS

Not sure it this is a solution for ALL your problems, but...

I had a similar issue: Phone rings, caller ID info displays then seems to hesitate, then displays only "INCOMING CALL."

The issue seemed to be caused by interference with other devices on the same line (in my case, an alarm system).

Tech support had me change a setting on my TRU9466 base unit (this is one of the PowerMax 5.8ghz models). This is how we did it step-by-step on the base unit:

MENU
GLOBAL SETUP
IN-USE LINE SETUP
select LINE 1
switch to TYPE B

This seems to have solved the Caller ID "interference" issue -- my Caller ID now displays as it should. The Tech Support person suggested trying that TYPE A/TYPE B setting on "OFF" if TYPE B didn't solve the problem, but thankfully, it did.

Now Cheryl, it sounds like your issue is more involved than this -- I didn't have any connection problems -- but perhaps they're related -- you might try my solution.
