For all LG LHB975 owners who have wireless subwoofer and/or rear speaker issues, there is a solution beside sending back the unit to the useless LG folks. If you've tried the their "remate" solution and the thing still doesn't work, the issue is with the wireless card within the subwoofer and wireless unit. Both units use the SAME EXACT wireless card, which can be purchased on Sears PartsDirect (link is below). It's the only item that goes for about $50. All you need to do is replace the wireless card by unscrewing the back. Note that the wirless card will have a ribbon which is how it is connected, simply pull (it seems stuck, but will in fact come out), the wireless card's ribbon out and then replace with the newly purchased wireless card. For now the subwoofer is fixed, i'm sure it will have issues again a year from now, but at least you have a solution. Hope this helps those of you who have been as frustrated as I have been trying to fix the **** thing.
