Question about Tomtom ONE XL GPS
Tom tom xl can't find a satelite signal. Worked fine when we stopped for lunch, came back and couldn't find signal the rest of a 200 mile drive. Brenda
Try going online at the Tom Tom site and updating the device (it's free). There's a new update each week that tells the Tom Tom where the satellites will be during the coming seven days. Admittedly, this only speeds up the process and not finding a signal for 200 miles is a stretch, but it's worth a try if you don't regularly update.

I switch it off, wait 5 minutes and then switch it back on, leaving it on the dash so it can get a clear "line" to the satellites. Usually this works quite well.
