Are you using a Samsung Smart tv? It appears this is a known issue with Samsung Smart tv's, and as far as i can tell there is no known cure for it just yet. Samsung and NetFlix have partnered up to figure this out, but apparently have not discovered a solution as of yet.

4. Press the Install button (Install). You must enter your password to iTunes to install the app.
5. When the app is installed, tap the Netflix icon.
6.Indtast e-mail address and password for your Netflix account, and then tap Sign in (Sign In).

How do i sign into the Netflix app on android tablet

The problem is not the app, if it isn't recognizing your log in information, then I suggest that you try to log in using a computer, just to be sure. Also reboot your device, sometimes the cache gets corrupted and it needs to be deleted.
