Question about T-Mobile Dash Smartphone
My tmobile dash would turn off and not hold a charge for more then three hours. then yesterday it shut off and when i finally got it to turn on after 4 hours of cycling through the first few screens every couple minutes and turning off. so i get it to turn on and it wont unlock. every button works but the z/* button. i take the battery out and put it back in and now i have a screen with three blocks of colors. a red bar a green bar and a blue bar. each bar says excalibur the top red one says excalibur some space then wifi and unfer it ONBL 1.22.000 and in the green bar under the red it says excalibur SPL 1.22.000 and the blue bar at the bottom says excalibur IU. has anyone ever seen this and what should i do? this is my third dash and im furious with tmobile. if someone hasnt started a class action law suit i might have to be the first.

SOURCE: wont charge/hold a charge
That definitely is a battery issue. The battery is either Low Soc or it is a failed battery. Most batteries on PDA's usually fail within a year because of the immense amount of use the phone has and the majority of the time the batteries are smaller in a PDA. Take your battery to a service center if one is in your area or call your carrier and inquire about the warranty on batteries (usually 1-year).

SOURCE: Tmobile Dash won't work at all
I had to visit quite a few stores and finally purchased a used battery from a licensed dealer. With the new battery I was able to restart the phone and the new battery also held a charge. This phone is prone to overheating and gets what the phone tech called, "thermal shutdown." Too hot, it turns off or freezes up. I ran into other problems with this phone so I finally got a different one.
