Straight out of the box, camera is charged, battery is in the remote but the remote isnt working. Any ideas other than a new battery.

Do you have (or can you borrow) a battery tester ? Also, is the battery the right way round ? (basic, I know, but a possibility). Also, some cameras require telling to accept signals from the remote control (my Pentax does), so see if there is a menu setting for this. Remember to cancel it afterwards, or any other remote on the same frequency may trigger the shutter.

Sky box problems

Power off unit, unplug from wall, reconnect and clean sender unit on end of the remote, use smart phones camera to view the end of the remote when you push a button, you should see a change in color on the remotes eye, if not try new batteries again, retest, still no signal, try the other remote.

The remote entry is transmitting a signal but it will not work.

There are ways to test it but how do you know that it is transmitting a signal? Batteries are new in the remote also right?

Can't get keyboard to work. Mouse works fine. Replaced batteries in keyboard and tried to reconnect as I did with the mouse. No luck

You say that the battery is ok. Please be sure that the battery is new and placed in the right way.
After plugging the remote box to the PC you must sync the keyboard and the mouse.
The range may be problem. If you keep the keyboard more one or two meters away from the remote, the signal is lost. And if you put the cell phone next to the keyboard or mouse, it may interfere with them. It also may interfere with wireless phone, radio or television signals.
If it continues not to work, you can ask for the new one.
Hope it works.
