Does a Yamaha clavinova clp 760 have a fuse that may need changing

There are a number of fuses on the main power board ( by transformer ) the sizes differ depending on the country of use but are clearly marked on the board.

REMEMBER TO UNPLUG FROM THE MAINS BEFORE OPENING - if in doubt seek the advice of a qualified electrician

I have a Yamaha Electone HS-6 which for some reason won't power on anymore.. is there somewhere I can look at to get it fixed? where should I be looking at fixing this? Fuse? power box maybe?

Yamaha has a service locator at http://usa.yamaha.com/dealers/service_locator/ I ran it and it came up with the exact place local to me I would have taken it to. I know their reputation and have had service done by them before with excellent results. Your organ's a pretty complex unit, so if I were you, I'd take it to a Yamaha recommended facility, after checking with Yelp.

Hen the controller is switched off the monitor comes back VOX

Depending on what other settings are chosen- this at times can be normal. You may be simply switching from the output of the mixer board to the sound input source, and if gain is up and mixer level is up, you will hear it. If it is outputing to the host and it should not be; check stored settings and Scene memory.

I have blown the fuse in my yamaha hs80, when getting a replacement i realised it is hard to establish if it is a 0.2A or 2A fuse, as there is some sort of logo before the 2. I was wondering if you would...

Hi,it is hard to tell which one is correct without examining the blown fuse..
May I recommend to you to contact official YAMAHA support site as seen on the link below..

I Have Yamaha Electone HS-4. I already changer a fuse but i have no sound. Someone said, for change a fuse, i must change also a transistor or condensator? Help please. Thanks. andriaharifara@yahoo.fr

the problem is the main output amp. It is an IC so it is better left to a tech to put it in. Just had the same problem with mine. Seems to happen when unit is left on overnight.

Yamaha PSR-280 : AC power instead of DC power

An answer, but likely not a solution. I believe all Yamaha PSR series keyboards use the same 12 VDC adaptor, so I looked at the electrical schematic for another model I have. There seems to be no fuse on the power input. There are two components shown on the positive and negative wires off the power socket, but the symbols do not look like anything I have seen for fuses - they may be resistors. Power goes directly to a 5 VDC voltage regulator, which powers all of the solid state componenents. Too much voltage of the wrong type could have easily ruined many of the sensitive components.

Your only hope is to check the power socket area for the possibility of having fuses. My drawing shows the power socket, voltage regulator, and audio power amplifier being on one circuit board. That may not actually be the way it is in your model.

Good luck!
(your English is fine)
