I don't know what model you're referring to, but there is obviously a problem - either with your PC, or the disc. I think you know that. It should be a matter of minutes. Try another PC if possible, and/or download a fresh copy of the software and try installing from your Hard drive.

Tried on another PC and it worked immediatly. Went through diagnostics for CD/DVD drive and all tests OK. Tried agai and still no Joy. Dell service spent 2 hours on the tyets end other solutions. Finally will get a new CD/DVD (optical) drive. It still tests ok and the drivers are correct and up to date. But wont wor at all.
They are sending me a new drive by courier.. Good service.

I bought my new Sony Vaio VPCEH last 2 weeks ago,. dual core, 2.3ghz, 4gb ram.. what i wondered is why my cpu almost overload all the time even i just use firefox, or explorer (opening folders ) or so

The CPU is runnimg with a useage of 45-60% as soon as the laptop has booted up because Kapersky is upgrading the virus definition file and is running a virus check on the files stored on the hard disk. When Kapersky has finished these tasks then you will see a drop in CPU useage.
NOTE as you install more programs and as your data files increase so will it take longer for Kapersky to carry out the virus scan.

D865 Intel Motherboard overheating

The 50% useage of the CPU is the problem not a fan issue. You have a memory glitch or IRQ setting causing this. Go back to basics look for a Video problem or shared memeory - does this board have onboard video, does it have onboard audio, have you installed a add in video/audio card? Check your bios settings, look at shadow memeory useage.

I have an hp tx1205us laptop. one of the two dual

maybe. That's a lot of cpu useage. You didn't state the OS you are using. Is it Vista? That can be a cpu hog. Do a Ctrl/alt/delete and choose task manager. Click on the PROCESSES tab and you will see a list of all processes running. Click on the CPU heading once or twice and it will order all the processes based on useage. The top one should give you a clue as to what process is using the machine. Sometimes the browser running on a particular web site can just **** the machine to its knees. Anyway, that should give you a pretty good clue as to what is using up the cycles. You can then google on that process name if you wish to find out what it is doing. You could have some spyware running that is giving you trouble.
