SOURCE: mirror on Mitsubishi DLP HDTV 60
Hello zero_x08, 1) remove the cover of the TV and find the light engine. 2) using canned air blow dust from the mirro assembly 3) test the screen by turning the TV on after the system has warmed back to room tempurature. This should clean the mirror Thank you, Shuttle83 http://www.electron-age-technologies-llc.com

The problem with your television is that the t-con board is bad. The t-con board is the board that is by the top middle on the main board of the television. Have it replaced and the television will be in good condition once again.
this does not have anything to do with your lamp, if it happens to be your lamp, the audio would not have worked.
You can fix this yourself or ask a friend who is technically able to assist you in doing the job. You will have to get a replacement t-con board, then you unplug the television, leave it for about 6 hours, for the high voltage to dissipate, because these televisions store currents that might shock you if exposed to some components in the television.
Then you, unscrew the television open, lift off the main panel of the television and you will see the t-con board on the top middle of the board. Disconnect it and reconnect the new one on it and the television will work perfectly fine once again.
Reassemble the television back together and plug it to a power source and turn it on.
Take care and good luck.
