Question about Audio Players & Recorders
My partner has just bought Proline mp3 player, model MP518D, 2GB. The instructions state that you do not need to install drivers if using Windows XP, however when we plug it into the computer it just makes the computer crash.
I know some of my drivers are out of date so I downloaded ParetoLogic DriverCure which is supposed to scan your computer and advise which drivers are out of date. I have done this and installed the recommended updates but it hasn't made any difference. Can anyone help please?
Try your player on a computer with a usb 2.0 port and see if it comes up.
this has been a problem for me also using hard drive adapters, win xp wants to see the drive only if it's a master drive.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
