If it was installed only five months ago, it should still be under warranty. Call Home Depot and have them send out a repair person.

Generac 43901 trys to start but get only a buzzing sound

The buzzing sound is most likely the started solenoid chattering due to low battery voltage, change the battery and try again. If it still does it make make sure the engine is not seized and can turn over. Then measure voltage going from the solenoid to the starter, if it is very low change the solenoid

I have a toy hauler with a generac generator propane that wont start getting gas and spark but wont start model 04164-0

Check the comprssion, if you are sure you have a spark and gas. Is the fuel been delivered to the cylinders? Check the fuel solenoid for power, if power is present the demand gas regulator maybe gummed up. LP companies put a waxy lubricant in the gas and over time this can build up and harden in regulators. Also during crank observe the throttle is it going open as it should? if not suspect a control issue

My Generac HSB 17W AC Model 0055040 Generator will crank but won't catch and run. Propane tanks are full and have never been empty. What can I do?

Check for igntition at the plugs, check power is going to fuel solenoid. If power is on solenoid check LP pressures and make sure it is opening. Be carefull LPV is dangerous any spark can cause a fire. Check to make sure the throttle is opening during cranking, if it isn't it's a control issue
