The Fuse for the cig. light outlet is located in the fuse panel inside the vehicle in the left (drivers) side kick panel (see picture below). Below in the last/bottom picture is the fuse layout and I have marked the fuse you are looking for. It's a 15 amp fuse. Hope this helps.....
Sounds Like You Have An Exposed Hot Wire Somewhere. I Would Try And Change Cig Lighter Wiring Harness. Be Sure And Check Your Aux Outlets So That There Are No Exposed Wires. They All Run On The Same Fuse Hope This Helps!!
Normally this would be in your owners manual. The power for the outlets may be on the same circuit with the horn. On some models there is an accessory relay that handles the outlets. There should be a 20amp fuse in the box in the engine compartment that feeds the circuit. You may have to check all of the 20amp fuses to find it.
I was searching for this fuse. All the above fuses mentioned were not popped on my vehicle and the 12v power was the only thing not working. Look under the hood by the latch. There is another fuse box by the hood latch. Open that and it will be #16 & #18 one is your 12v power, the other is cig lighter. Both of mine were popped. Replaced those and my problem was fixed.
