One of the things is usage does drop the scale each time you use the battery without having the power supply unit plugged in. This is common for it to drop. The thing to worry about is if it does not charge back up to 100% at all. The ideal way to not ruin a battery is to let it go completely down to about 10% then charge it to 100% and go that route always charging will over time decrease battery life. So there is nothing that you are doing wrong or the battery going bad not at all this is normal. It will discharge normally without any usage especially over a two week period of time not being charged and just sitting there. John
