On the 2wire router the logon for the router is User: ADMIN and PSWD: 2wire, or admin. For the wireless access the password, passcode or passkey is printed on a label attached to the router/modem and is normally 10 digits between the brackets, i.e. [1234567890]

How can i reset my kguard dvr hd881

To reset a Kguard DVR system, you will need to locate the reset button on the device. This button is usually located on the back or bottom of the DVR, and is typically labeled "Reset" or "Factory Reset". How to Mount storage devices automatically on linux

Hi..
This will be nice that all your local Hard drives are mounted automatically during the boot. This can be achieved by modifying "fstab" (File System TABle) file. This file is located on /etc/ which would need superuser permissions(root user password) to modify.

How we can alter fstab and set system to mount partitions by itself is explained below..

  1. First Open a terminal and type blkid and press <Enter>
this will show your local Hard disks with their UUIDs( Universal Unique IDentification). This may look like this

    nightflare.png
here 1st column with /dev entries are the links of partitions(in the format /device/<Partition No.>
2nd column : LABEL describes the Name or Label of partitions. Not all partitions necessarily needs a Label.
3rd column starting with UUID is the entry shows the UUIDs of the Partition
4th column shows the File system used in the partitions

  2. So Now we know some important informations about our partitions like their File system type and UUIDs. In linux to use a filesystem, we need to mount it in somewhere in the root directory. This is because of the Hierarchy nature of Linux .

Usual location of mounted file systems are on /mount/ or /mnt/. I take /mount/ as my default Mount location. Create a new folder with a name(Without any space between words, ex: New_Partition) simillar to Partiton Label or No

To create folders in /mount/ , we need root permissions.
Open a terminal and type su and press <Enter>. It will ask for root password. type in root password and press enter.

    Then type mkdir -v /media/<Dir Name>
ex.: If you want to create New_Drive in /media/ then type mkdir -v /media/New_Drive
You can also create multiple folders in one step
ex. You want to create Drive1, Drive2 , Drive3 then you need to type as
    mkdir -v /media/Drive1 /media/Drive2 /media/Drive3

    You may get as this
    nightflare_0.png

Now we created mount points needed to mount the filesystems

  3. Now we need to modify fstab file .
Default location of fstab is /etc/fstab

    nightflare_1.png

On terminal ( where we typed commands to create folders in /media)
Before we start editing fstab file, lets make a backup copy of it

Type on terminal cp -v /etc/fstab /etc/fstab.backup and press <Enter>. You should see as below.

    nightflare_5.png

type sudo gedit & and press <Enter>

This will open text editor. Click on Open and point it to /etc/fstab

    nightflare.jpg

It will Open fstab file. This may look like this

    nightflare_3.png

Any entry starting with #, will not taken into account. So you can use # for commenting

Basic structure of fstab file is

    <File System Address> <Mount Point> <Filesystem Type> <Options> <Dump> <Pass>

File System Address --> Its is the Identifier for the file system. You can use either Links (ex.: /dev/sda2) or Labels (ex.: LABEL="DRIVE1") or UUIDs (ex.: UUID="74c9c3d9-a374-406d-ba41-e030c7d35f5d")

Mount Point --> This is folder on which the file system mounts. (Refer Step 2) (ex.: /media/Drive2)

File System Type --> specify the file system (ex ext3, ntfs, fat)

Options --> Contains more complicated options
For normal user, its good to set Defaults as Options

Dump --> set whether to Backup or not. (ex. 0, 1)

Pass --> set whether to check filesystem before mounting

example of a edited fstab file is

    nightflare_4.png

After finishing with fstab save it. You may get errors if you don't have permissions to alter fstab. In that case, Open a terminal and type su and press <Enter> and provide Password for root account. and <Enter>
    Then type gedit &.

  4. After saving the file , restart the system, if everything go just good as expected the computer boots up with local partitions mounted on specified locations

Router label for Netgear r6250 does not contain PIN. where else can i locate it

There is no "pin" for this router. Instead, you need to connect to it via a wired connection from your computer and bring up a browser. Enter http://routerlogin.net in the address bar. The default user name is admin and the default password is password.
If you changed the defaults (which you should have done) there is a small hole in the back for a reset. This will remove any customization you have made and reset the router to the factory defaults. Then you can log in and set it back to whatever you had before.

How can I open the page

Locate your router. There should be a label which displays your default gateway. The Default gateway displays a number. It should show a number like
  • 192.168.0.1
  • 192.168.1.1
  • 10.0.0.1
Open your browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, ETC..) Type the default gateway number into the search engine text box on top of the screen press enter or return (mac). The page should now show user name and password. Locate the router and locate the default credentials. For example. most routers requires the user name to be blank and the password is password. Routers very.

About obtaining an IP address. Routers are usually set to option the IP address automatically unless you manually set a static IP address which is not recommended.

How reset passwords to factory default

Most routers have a reset button, located on the rear or bottom. Often it is located thru a small hole that you insert a paperclip into. Most have some sort of label (although tiny). Press and hold the reset switch for 10 seconds with power applied. Be advised that this will not only reset the passwords, but the entire device to factory defaults, requiring you to perform the configuration process again.

How can i rest a password on my truvision dvr30

The TVR 30 is shipped with one predefined user for the system administrator and
seven predefined standard users. The default system administrator logon uses admin
as the account name with a default password of 1234. You can modify the admin
password but not the admin user name. The seven predefined standard users are
labeled User1 to User7 with a default password of 4321 and level 4 access. The
administrator can customize the seven standard users and define their privileges.
Use the Users screen (shown in Figure 20 below) to manage users.
Note: When accessing the main menu for the first time, the system lets you pick
either an admin user or a regular user (User 4) by default. If you select User 4, enter
the initial default password of 4321.

Speedtouch default password

That is located on the bottom of your router on a silver label next to your default SSID and other pertinent information. If, by chance, you've forgotten a password that you set, unplug the router (not just power off, remove from wall power) for 10 minutes then press tiny pinhole sized reset button on the back to restore factory defaults.

Default router password is not working.

Are you sure you reset it ? Try holding the reset switch with power off and unplugged for a few seconds, then try resetting with power on.

  • If you do not remember your password, you can click "I Forgot My Password" on the login screen and the 2Wire will provide you with a password hint.
  • If you still do not remember, you can click on "I Still Don't Remember My Password" and the 2Wire will prompt you for the system key.
  • The system key is located on the side of the 2Wire HomePortal on a sticker and is a 10-digit number surrounded by brackets (ex: [1234567890]). It is located between the two barcodes on the sticker (see image below).
  • Once you enter the system key, the 2Wire will allow you to reset the password to anything you like.

If after your hint is shown to you, you still can't remember your password, there is a "I still can't remember my password" link that you can click to take you to a page to obtain a temporary password. To obtain a temporary password, you must call the support telephone number on the screen and provide the special code number that is generated by your HomePortal. The support representative will use this special code number to generate a temporary password. Once you have entered the temporary password, you can then change your password and enter an appropriate hint.

I have a nrtwork konektion all I nead is to fine the password and use the internet line

Are you using a wireless router to connect to the internet?

If you have forgotten what your connection to router's password is, I suggest to reset the router by locating the reset hole. Just push it with an unfolded paper clip for about 10 seconds and it will be back to default settings which is no password.

Hope this helps.
